California. This casita was completely renovated from floor to ceiling in preparation of Airbnb short term romantic getaways. The color palette of teal green, blue and white was brought to life with curated antiques that were stripped of their dark stain colors, collected fine linens, fine plaster wall finishes, authentic Turkish rugs, antique and custom light fixtures, original oil paintings and moorish chevron tile and Moroccan pattern choices.

It is a common misconception that the fewer pieces of furniture and features you have in a space, the bigger it will look – this isn’t actually the case. The more zones and features you have the more it creates a perception of different areas within one room. The trick is not to have too many contrasts or palette juxtapositions but to use neutral tones in a variety of different textures and materials. A material that consists of layers of liquid metal and resin has been used to clad the fireplace surround, hand chiselled to create a crackled effect it has a textured appearance that is tactile and visually stimulating. Keir Townsend has collaborated with Italian manufacturer Laurameroni on production of the copper coffee table; it features a unique process which involves applying patinated metal strips of different widths to furniture surfaces. The velvet upholstered sofa has a matching ottoman which gives a feeling of expansive luxury and provides extra seating if required.

Our clients brought us in to make a second floor refuge in advance of the arrival of their first child. This Society Hill rowhome had original baseboard and casing with decades of wear and layers of lead paint. In this case we decided restoration was not the best option for various reasons. We installed all new trim profiles, custom built-ins and radiator covers. Floors were refinished. The bar got a refresh. The original fireplace mantle in the dining room was, and is amazing - that stayed. The living room mantle was an awkwardly sized wood piece. We designed a more contemporary stone mantle that would complement, not compete with the dining room. Both got a black brick interior to tie them together stylistically.

This mountain modern cabin outside of Asheville serves as a simple retreat for our clients. They are passionate about fly-fishing, so when they found property with a designated trout stream, it was a natural fit. We developed a design that allows them to experience both views and sounds of the creek and a relaxed style for the cabin - a counterpoint to their full-time residence.

This young married couple enlisted our help to update their recently purchased condo into a brighter, open space that reflected their taste. They traveled to Copenhagen at the onset of their trip, and that trip largely influenced the design direction of their home, from the herringbone floors to the Copenhagen-based kitchen cabinetry. We blended their love of European interiors with their Asian heritage and created a soft, minimalist, cozy interior with an emphasis on clean lines and muted palettes.

От старого убранства сохранились семейная посуда, глечики, садник и ухват для печи, которые сегодня играют роль декора и напоминают о недавнем прошлом семейного дома. Еще более завершенным проект делают зеркала в резных рамах и графика на стенах.
