Our client in Point Loma loves to entertain and they invited us to remodel and refresh their home to create a space with multiple seating areas that encourage conversation and a better flow. CairnsCraft Design & Remodel opened up the kitchen area by removing the fireplace and the wall that separated the Kitchen and Family Room. The owners chose a rich stain with beveled shaker style cabinets, punctuated by a lighter quartz countertop and a very elegant stone backsplash tile. Our clients are wine lovers, so we redesigned an existing closet into a bar. We added a wine cooler, lots of storage and upper cabinets with LED lights and seedy-glass doors to display all the sparkling glassware! ​We replaced a sliding door with a wide La Cantina folding glass door, connecting the interior spaces with outdoor areas and bring a lot of natural light in.​ ​We are proud to have earned the trust ​of this family, and that they are truly happy with their fresh remodel home!

This wet bar used to be a coat closet! We emptied the closet, removed the door, continued the hall floor tile and created a space for the homeowners to play bar tender! Hammered copper bar sink, copper bar faucet, soapstone countertops, vintage chandelier, under-cabinet lighting, ice maker.

This expansive kitchen space features a cooking area with island, a breakfast nook, a sitting area, and a lounge area overlooking the lake, creating an integrated work/play/dine gathering space for a large family. The homeowner wanted to keep the space fairly neutral and efficient as well as reflect the lakeside location, without being overly nautical. White oak and quartzite bar repeats the materials used on the expansive kitchen island in the cooking area of this room. A built-in end panel conceals a Sub-zero fridge and freezer drawers

This kitchen is a shaker themed kitchen finished in Benjamin Moore Decorators White.. The Countertops are LG Viatera Willow White. Hardware is Sutton by Jeffery Alexander in a Satin Bronze. The bar is finished in a Benjamin Moore Hale Navy Blue and features solid Walnut Butcher Block Tops.
