The Art of the Kitchen

In these days of open-plan kitchen living we are often asked to consider or incorporate a cherished work of art, or items of collectable design, or an heirloom piece of furniture as part of the overall aesthetic of the space. Sometimes we may even take a cue from a particular piece of art to develop an accent or feature colour in the rest of the scheme, for example a pop of bright yellow in a walk-in pantry.
