This fanciful floral nursery features a wall entirely of silk flowers. The feminine details like the upholstered crib, chandelier and metallic artwork are balanced by the clean lines of the furniture. It's a modern day trip into Wonderland. Christine Farah Photography

This little girl's room is so pretty in pink, and green! A classic egg chair in white wicker with its apple green cushion, offers a special spot to read or do homework. The custom draperies and roman shades, in a fresh green and white ikat fabric, are motorized for easy operation. The custom headboard and bedskirt, in a geometric pink and green fabric, will grow well into the teen years.

This boy’s room is fun and reflects his personality of the outdoors. We used a custom landscape mural for the accent wall behind the bed. We used gray, navy, orange, and green in the room with bedding, walls colors, wall décor and accessories. Furniture was kept to a minimum. Michael Hunter Photography

Nathan Taylor for Obelisk HomeNathan Taylor for Obelisk Home
Obelisk Home was given the challenge of creating a 4 year old boys bedroom using their existing furniture, but make it feel grown up. The little boy is very active. We selected new bedding, a rug, art, lighting, a custom paint color, and re-invented simple furniture to make a little boy’s paradise. Grays, oranges, blues and creams were selected to coordinate a shared bath used by a young boy and a newborn sister. Tile, decorative tile and wallpaper were the key in creating a well-blended space. The finishes chosen are all family friendly and will grow with both of the children. Photos by Jeremy Mason McGraw
