His and Her's master vanities. Towers on vanity are recessed into the wall. I have found that most cosmetics and beauty products are 3" in diameter or less. All we really need is a few visible shelves to store our tiny items as opposed to tossing everything into messy drawers. These towers take up minimal counter space, while allowing a clean clear view of items while getting ready. Unique features include soft closure drawers, and hidden power inside of the drawers for hair dryer, etc. This backsplash was a special unique feature which I aDORE!

The rich history and classic appeal of the ever-popular Shingle style is apparent in this four-bedroom design. A columned porch off the efficient kitchen and nearby laundry offers a wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee, while the large screened porch is perfect for an alfresco meal. Other main floor features include the living room and den with two sided fireplace and a convenient bedroom off the entryway. Upstairs is the master bedroom, bunk room and two additional suites.

The brief was to transform the apartment into a functional and comfortable home, suitable for everyday living; a place of warmth and true homeliness. Excitingly, we were encouraged to be brave and bold with colour, and so we took inspiration from the beautiful garden of England; Kent. We opted for a palette of French greys, Farrow and Ball's warm neutrals, rich textures and textiles. We hope you like the result as much as we did!

The old slate floors and shower surrounds were removed and salvaged fir floorboards were put in place. The shower was tiled using white rectangular tile positioned vertically to emphasize the tall space. Also, cabinets from Restoration Hardware were used, again to maximize space. The cap on the shower curb was salvaged white jasper stone. The baseboard was seconds tile from Pratt and Lambert's warehouse. A simple accordian top-down bottom-up shade was used on the tall existing window.
