Preliminary architecture renderings were given to Obelisk Home with a challenge. The homeowners needed us to create an unusual but family friendly home, but also a home-based business functioning environment. Working with the architect, modifications were made to incorporate the desired functions for the family. Starting with the exterior, including landscape design, stone, brick and window selections a one-of-a-kind home was created. Every detail of the interior was created with the homeowner and the Obelisk Home design team. Furnishings, art, accessories, and lighting were provided through Obelisk Home. We were challenged to incorporate existing furniture. So the team repurposed, re-finished and worked these items into the new plan. Custom paint colors and upholstery were purposely blended to add cohesion. Alder wood custom cabinetry in this hallway bathroom with wood flooring features a tall cabinet for storing linens surmounted by generous moulding. There is a bathtub/shower area and a niche for the toilet. The double sinks have bronze faucets by Santec complemented by a large framed mirror.

There are all the details and classical touches of a grand Parisian hotel in this his and her master bathroom and closet remodel. This space features marble wainscotting, deep jewel tone colors, a clawfoot tub by Victoria & Albert, chandelier lighting, and gold accents throughout.

This powder room is bold through and through. Painted the same throughout in the same shade of blue, the vanity, walls, paneling, ceiling, and door create a bold and unique room. A classic take on a monotone palette in a small space.

Kids bathroom with a double vanity, mother of pearl floral lights flank the medicine cabinets and the mosaic floor tile pulls in that pearly blue. Photos by VLG Photography
