Traditional Kitchen

In redesigning this space and starting with a small galley type kitchen secluded from all other spaces we reconfigured the four rooms in and around the kitchen into this beautiful open living space. Working with the existing construction in opening up the space we had to work around 4 different ceiling heights. It was a an exciting challenge to tie all the rooms together and work the design into the existing architecture of arches, coved plaster ceilings and hardwood floor with walnut inlay to make it look as though it was designed that way from the start.
