Anyone out there that loves to share a bathroom with a teen? Our clients were ready for us to help shuffle rooms around on their 2nd floor in order to accommodate a new full bathroom with a large walk in shower and double vanity. The new bathroom is very simple in style and color with a bright open feel and lots of storage.

We had the opportunity to come alongside this homeowner and demo an old cottage and rebuild this new year-round home for them. We worked hard to keep an authentic feel to the lake and fit the home nicely to the space. We focused on a small footprint and, through specific design choices, achieved a layout the homeowner loved. A major goal was to have the kitchen, dining, and living all walk out at the lake level. We also managed to sneak a master suite into this level (check out that ceiling!).

This 5687 sf home was a major renovation including significant modifications to exterior and interior structural components, walls and foundations. Included were the addition of several multi slide exterior doors, windows, new patio cover structure with master deck, climate controlled wine room, master bath steam shower, 4 new gas fireplace appliances and the center piece- a cantilever structural steel staircase with custom wood handrail and treads. A complete demo down to drywall of all areas was performed excluding only the secondary baths, game room and laundry room where only the existing cabinets were kept and refinished. Some of the interior structural and partition walls were removed. All flooring, counter tops, shower walls, shower pans and tubs were removed and replaced. New cabinets in kitchen and main bar by Mid Continent. All other cabinetry was custom fabricated and some existing cabinets refinished. Counter tops consist of Quartz, granite and marble. Flooring is porcelain tile and marble throughout. Wall surfaces are porcelain tile, natural stacked stone and custom wood throughout. All drywall surfaces are floated to smooth wall finish. Many electrical upgrades including LED recessed can lighting, LED strip lighting under cabinets and ceiling tray lighting throughout. The front and rear yard was completely re landscaped including 2 gas fire features in the rear and a built in BBQ. The pool tile and plaster was refinished including all new concrete decking.

Transitional master bath with clean lines and modern accents. This is a custom home that was designed and built by a super Tucson team. We remember walking on the dirt lot thinking of what would one day grow from the Tucson desert. We could not have been happier with the result. This home has a Southwest feel with a masculine transitional look. We used many regional materials and our custom millwork was mesquite. The home is warm, inviting, and relaxing. The interior furnishings are understated so as to not take away from the breathtaking desert views. The floors are stained and scored concrete and walls are a mixture of plaster and masonry.
