This beautiful spa-like bathroom was completed in the Spring of 2012. The relaxing greens and creams used in this master bath blend beautifully with the cherry cabinets and Uba Tuba granite countertops. The chrome fixtures bring sparkle to the room and stand out beautifully against the dark granite and cream tiles. We touched every corner of the main level of the historic 1903 Dutch Colonial. True to our nature, Storie edited the existing residence by redoing some of the work that had been completed in the early 2000s, kept the historic moldings/flooring/handrails, and added new (and timeless) wainscoting/wallpaper/paint/furnishings to modernize yet honor the traditional nature of the home.

While respecting the history and architecture of the house, we created an updated version of the home’s original personality with contemporary finishes that still feel appropriate, while also incorporating some of the original furniture passed down in the family. Two decades and two teenage sons later, the family needed their home to be more user friendly and to better suit how they live now. We used a lot of unique and upscale finishes that would contrast each other and add panache to the space.

Gorgeous sage green paired with a green and brown designed quartz give this bathroom the ultimate spa feel. Tall linen towers set right on the counter provide functionality and an elevated sense of space. Black matte fixtures throughout with gold accents add to the rich feeling.
