In the mud room, we built a coat rack with cubbies for backpacks, shoes and boots with a wainscoting back, painted in gray for contrast but coordinated with the powder room vanity and floor. The bench offers a perfect place to sit while taking off or putting on shoes.
The powder room has a washable woven wallcovering and a patterned porcelain floor. The nickel chandelier is open and airy with light crystal accents, which coordinate with the vanity knobs. Six inch crown molding in ivory continues through the entire first floor.

This charming powder room has a DXV Console bathroom sink and DXV one piece toilet. The detailed molding adds great character to this little space to add some visual impact.

Simplicity of Nature-
A tiny powder room reflecting nature’s simplicity with a dramatic wall treatment featuring a scattered gold leaf treatment, a George Bernard Shaw quotation and my signature dragonfly motif.
By keeping with the period of the house, I chose earthy shades of browns with touches of robin’s egg blue.
The room with its mirror set into stone colored tiles, a vessel sink and black hardware comes alive with the colors of chocolate brown and robin’s egg blue accents.
The dominant colors are the earthy tones both in the paint and the stone tiles.
