The brief for this home was to create a warm inviting space that suited it's beachside location. Our client loves to cook so an open plan kitchen with a space for her grandchildren to play was at the top of the list. Key features used in this open plan design were warm floorboard tiles in a herringbone pattern, navy horizontal shiplap feature wall, custom joinery in entry, living and children's play area, rattan pendant lighting, marble, navy and white open plan kitchen.

Our client was looking to increase form and functionality in their laundry room, taking it from bare bones to a fully finished space, offering multiple organic and earthy inspired aesthetic moments to be used for styling her work as a gardening influencer as well as practical functionality, storage and organization at home. A combination of storage solutions is key to running an efficient laundry. Consider a custom-built cupboard for an ironing board, so it can easily fold out when you need it, or mount the ironing board directly to the wall or on the back of a door.
