although this space had an open floor plan, the dark flooring throughout made it feel "heavy". we used matching 9x12 natural weave rugs in both the living room and dining room to provide consistency and lighten up the spaces. the 12 foot slider was added to bring in tons of natural light and create the desired indoor-outdoor lifestyle these homeowners envisioned. the newly landscaped yard used turf and linear pavers to define the separate entertaining spaces.
