The blue colored walls only enhance the tile floor and white plumbing fixtures. The walls are lined with white wainscoting and the floor with marble tile.

I designed this master bath vanity and had it built, using parts I ordered from four different suppliers. Counter is soapstone. Shelves are glass, supported by brass tubing. The bathroom tub is original to the home while the glass shower is a functional necessity that does not overpower the room. The client wanted to display many treasures, hence the floating shelves throughout.

We updated this century-old iconic Edwardian San Francisco home to meet the homeowners' modern-day requirements while still retaining the original charm and architecture. The color palette was earthy and warm to play nicely with the warm wood tones found in the original wood floors, trim, doors and casework.
