The owners invested in a PONS bed prior to our arrival featuring USB chargers in the frame. Bought MALM end tables with matching dresser, lamps, and new bedding from IKEA. Bedspread from Pottery Barn. Second-hand kilm rug.

We refinished the pine wood floors and this was the final look. We repaired the loose boards, filled in any gaps, put moulding around the skirting, sanded down the flooring and then finished it with a brown oil to highlight the beautiful, natural grain in the wood.

It feels rewarding to help build a bedroom which can make a little toddler feel happy to be in. Bright colours, playful touches, good storage solutions are key whilst adding some sense of style and quality too. This room is filled with period features and has all the potential to grow with this child in the next years to come. The room is in a Victorian house with a view over the garden, overlooking a beautiful pear tree. Our chosen pallet for this room is neutral and calm with a sea foam colour on the walls which allows wall art and colourful toys to jump out creating playful colour bursts.

The walls are decorated in two tones of blue and there are characterful features throughout the room, such as original wooden flooring and ceiling beams. There is built in storage and an upstairs play area. The play area benefits from a large skylight so the area is light and airy.
