The Breakfast Room leading onto the kitchen through pockets doors using reclaimed Victorian pine doors. A dining area on one side and a seating area around the wood burner create a very cosy atmosphere.

In the dining room an antique Venetian glass mirror, a mirrored tribal chest, and a hand-painted silk Fortuny chandelier help balance the austerity of the heavy wood table and simple white chairs. Photo by Lincoln Barbour.

This ocean-front shingled Gambrel style house is home to a young family with little kids who lead an active, outdoor lifestyle. My goal was to create a bespoke, colorful and eclectic interior that looked sophisticated and fresh, but that was tough enough to withstand salt, sand and wet kids galore. The palette of coral and blue is an obvious choice, but we tried to translate it into a less expected, slightly updated way, hence the front door! Liberal use of indoor-outdoor fabrics created a seamless appearance while preserving the utility needed for this full time seaside residence. photo: Michael J Lee Photography

Originally a builder spec house, foreclosed before completion, our client's desire was to create a home with Old World charm. The front facade was redesigned and the dining and living spaces were expanded for entertaining, thus opening up the residence to views of the Highline Canal and the mountains. The entire interior's detailing was refinished completing the home's Old World style.
