This painted Shaker kitchen in an Edwardian home features a large island, which is painted in a bold blue (Basalt by Little Greene). The client wanted to keep the island free of any cooking elements or sinks to keep it purely as a prepping zone. The oak worktop adds warmth to a cool colour scheme of greys & blues.
