We developed a design utilizing organic materials to deliver a Master Bathroom that fulfilled the homeowners wishes of capturing the essence of a memorable vacation retreat. The subtle shine of the polished tile contrasts beautifully with the rich color of the Cherrywood cabinets and the salvaged Teak* wood slats; these elements when intermingled with the bold matte black finishes bring about the perfect balance, creating an inviting retreat after a long day.
*Teak slats: sourced from vintage buildings in Southeast Asia

This full gut renovation included entertainment-friendly designs, custom furniture, and thoughtful decor to create a modern, inviting aesthetic that reflects our clients' unique personalities.
In the primary ensuite, a striking tile backsplash adorned with subtle inlay brass detail exudes sophistication. The custom-designed vanity, accentuated by chic brass accents, provides ample storage. Elegantly curved mirrors enhance the space, complementing contemporary wall sconces that cast a warm, peaceful glow.

This project was a primary suite remodel that we began pre-pandemic. The primary bedroom was an addition to this waterfront home and we added character with bold board-and-batten statement wall, rich natural textures, and brushed metals. The primary bathroom received a custom white oak vanity that spanned over nine feet long, brass and matte black finishes, and an oversized steam shower in Zellige-inspired tile.

We planned a thoughtful redesign of this beautiful home while retaining many of the existing features. We wanted this house to feel the immediacy of its environment. So we carried the exterior front entry style into the interiors, too, as a way to bring the beautiful outdoors in. In addition, we added patios to all the bedrooms to make them feel much bigger. Luckily for us, our temperate California climate makes it possible for the patios to be used consistently throughout the year.
The original kitchen design did not have exposed beams, but we decided to replicate the motif of the 30" living room beams in the kitchen as well, making it one of our favorite details of the house. To make the kitchen more functional, we added a second island allowing us to separate kitchen tasks. The sink island works as a food prep area, and the bar island is for mail, crafts, and quick snacks.
We designed the primary bedroom as a relaxation sanctuary – something we highly recommend to all parents. It features some of our favorite things: a cognac leather reading chair next to a fireplace, Scottish plaid fabrics, a vegetable dye rug, art from our favorite cities, and goofy portraits of the kids.

In the Deets
Modern master bathroom remodel featuring custom finishes throughout. A simple yet rich palette, brass and black fixtures, and warm wood tones make this a luxurious suite.

We gave this dated and choppy bathroom an open layout with classic timeless design with marble-look tile and chrome fixtures. The clawfoot tub with a gooseneck spout replaced their dated jacuzzi corner tub. We removed a wall and installed a pocket door to maximize the space and give them a larger shower. We incorporated plenty of storage with a double vanity and two tall towers to fit their laundry hampers. The hexagon floor tiles add a modern twist to this traditional style bathroom.
