Two small spaces were combined to create one substantial children’s bathroom. Per the client’s request, two wall-mounted sinks were preferred over a traditional vanity setup. A large marble bench and side cabinet provide plenty of storage. The floating tub was integrated within the shower to create a dedicated wet area. This house gave us the opportunity to create a variety of bathroom spaces and explore colour and style. The bespoke vanity unit offers plenty of storage. The terrazzo-style tiles on the floor have bluey/green/grey hues which guided the colour scheme for the rest of the space. The black taps and shower accessories, make the space feel contemporary. The walls are painted in a dark grey/blue tone which makes the space feel incredibly cosy.

MainStreet Design Build
A revised window layout allowed us to create a separate toilet room and a large wet room, incorporating a 5′ x 5′ shower area with a built-in undermount air tub. The shower has every feature the homeowners wanted, including a large rain head, separate shower head and handheld for specific temperatures and multiple users. In lieu of a free-standing tub, the undermount installation created a clean built-in feel and gave the opportunity for extra features like the air bubble option and two custom niches.

We gave this dated and choppy bathroom an open layout with classic timeless design with marble-look tile and chrome fixtures. The clawfoot tub with a gooseneck spout replaced their dated jacuzzi corner tub. We removed a wall and installed a pocket door to maximize the space and give them a larger shower. We incorporated plenty of storage with a double vanity and two tall towers to fit their laundry hampers. The hexagon floor tiles add a modern twist to this traditional style bathroom.
