This hybrid style wine cellar / wine room / custom wine cellar / custom wine room utilizes multiple styles of wine racks / wine racking to keep a modern and contemporary, yet refined and traditional feel in this home in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California. On the back wall upper section, simple triple deep metal wine racks are used to showcase wine bottles horizontally, so that high providence wine labels can be displayed and celebrated. Clean black metal wine racking looks great against the white walls behind. In the center row of the back wall, a high reveal display is featured, again for more ability and capacity to show off those prized vintages and bottles. This high reveal wine display / angled wine display style section of wood wine racking / wooden wine racking / wood wine racks / wooden wine racks has been carefully thought about by our team to ensure that the angles at which the bottles sit still maintain a wet cork. Below sits room for OWC Original Wood Cases, where the client can store special wine selections often obtained directly from the wineries themselves. Diamond Bins finish out this section in the back right corner. On the right side of this traditional modern hybrid custom wine cellar / custom wine room / custom wine display, individual bottle storage above, wine glass storage, and a small countertop are the highlights. Cabinetry below finishes the side which butts up to a dividing wall and into the floor to ceiling glass doors in front. Dark stained Alder wood was chosen as the material for the wine racks / wine racking / wine rack. A custom temperature- controlled wine-cellar with Smart Glass, a home bar with comfortable lounge, and a cozy reading nook under the stairs to name a few. This custom wine cellar consisted of roasted/oiled walnut millwork to house wine bottles, wood cases, stemware and even the cooling system. Metal wall-mounted Vintage View wine racks were installed at the sides of he room for design interest and additional storage capacity. Individually-lit niches in the rock wall provided a beautiful design feature, easily visible through the frameless glass front wall. All lighting used within the cooled wine cellar environment was LED so that no heat was emitted. Creating a custom look wine display without the need for any additional major building works to your property. Our custom refrigerated wine wall projects will require an outdoor cooling system. However, there are no external cooling plant requirements with premium off the shelf wine fridges. The Design process for a built in wine fridge: In this project, the client lives in a top floor penthouse apartment in London. He requested a floor to ceiling wine display, sitting between the existing window frames. A built-in wine fridge solution for multi-tenanted buildings like this is the perfect solution. Making any building alterations to fit a custom refrigeration system will require the freeholder’s permission. The decision on the design was quickly accessed for a built-in wine fridge, clad in custom luxury finishes. In addition, the high ceiling height allowed for overhead storage to be factored in. There is a display counter clad in antique mirror, luxury marble and polished brass. The overhead polished brass glass hanger holds approx 16-20 glasses. This brass has been polished through a multi-stage buffing process that ensures the highest-grade finish. The under-counter drawer is for small item storage. There is an allocated area under the drawer for the clients refrigerated cigar humidor. This built-in wine fridge display incorporates all the features you would need for a small fit-out project. The Eurocave wine fridge can store the wine between 5-20°C. There is an area for room temperature counter top whiskey bottles illuminated with soft LED lighting. Overhead glass storage in a beautiful custom brass structure. Finally, a place to maintain the wine or champagne temperature while drinking it.
