With the children older, it was time to formalize a Webster Groves, MO finished basement for more adult pursuits. A new set of red oak stairs leads to a cultured stone entry way into the new kitchenette and 512-bottle wine cellar. A waist-high sliding pocket door keeps balls from the refinished ping pong room from rolling into the family room, adjacent to the refinished billiards room.

Completely enclosed in glass, this custom wine cellar in Hermosa Beach, Los Angeles, California, is sure to turn some heads. Located directly off of the kitchen and dining room, this custom wine room / glass wine cellar / modern wine cellar / contemporary wine cellar holds upwards of 200 bottles. Glass, Metal, and stone are all utilized in our favorite combination for a gorgeous contemporary masterpiece. Double deep metal wine racks / metal wine racking is utilized here, placed a few feet off of the ground to allow for potential case storage space on the tile below. Black metal wine racking was also chosen, as opposed to silver metal wine racks in order to really make the space pop. The glass here is single pane. Master Wine Cellar Builders and Design Build team at Vintage Cellars recommend using dual paned, thermally insulated glass in wine cellars to minimize potential for condensation, as well as making sure that your wine cellar is able to maintain proper temperature and humidity constantly. Single pane glass simply does not have a high enough R Value of insulation, though it can make the space look a bit more clean and elegant. The cooling system was recessed and ducted into the ceiling to ensure the minimalist look was achieved for this wine cellar / glass wine cellar / modern wine room / modern glass wine cellar / modern glass wine room / contemporary wine room. When you imagine drinking an incredible glass of red wine, you might daydream of a Tuscan destination with rolling vineyard hills, stucco homes with tiled rooftops, and a breathtaking view. For our latest custom wine cellar project, we brought a bit of that Tuscan dream to Oregon, mixing polished concrete floors, rustic reclaimed wood, and gorgeous stonework to create a Tuscan-style cellar that feels right at home in the Pacific Northwest. Custom designed wine racks made in Nelson provide elegant storage in this wine cellar

This Texas Ranch House and vineyard demanded a custom wine cellar and tasting room. Built into the hillside below the main house, the cellar features storage for over 1000 bottles, a small tasting room with hand-painted vineyard mural, and solid stone walls and archways. The flagstone flooring is offset by mesquite ceilings and countertops and custom cabinets of reclaimed wood. Southern Landscape completed all of the stonework for the wine cellar.
