The work top allows for additional storage on top, if and when required. All of the racking supplied is made of natural pine and the wine room can store over 480 bottles in total.

Our client purchased this home and realized he was never going to use the formal dining room, and one thing that I highly believe in is we should use our homes the way we want to live in them… Thus his dream of a wine room was soon underway. We spent many months planning, designing, revising the designs, to make sure this investment was going to be exactly what he wanted. The results truly tell the story. No detail was left unfinished: from the hand stained walnut cabinets, to the precise countertop ogee edging seamlessly flowing into the walnut cabinet edging. Custom trim at the HVAC ceiling vents as well as the wine cooler vent at the toe kick. Dimmable lighting all around, speakers system, optic clear glass doors with custom family name etching. This is truly a meeting place, entertaining paradise, and remarkable home wine cellar.

While creating their dream home, our clients wanted to create a modern and transitional wine room with a touch of traditional. Our custom cabinets were designed and built with rustic oak and flat slab doors in painted black oak. The beautiful oak wood grain shows through the black finish and provides a touch of elegance coupled with the rustic oak stain. We created two different bottle storage areas, one up top for larger quantities with a reserve area lower for special collections. The contemporary cabinets on the window wall were created using the Aventos Lift system on the slab doors for modern operation and easy access to contents. Finally we stained the rolling ladder to match our cabinetry to complete this beautiful space.

If you enjoy quaffing, you may want to invest in a walk-in cooler with wall-mounted wine racks and several tall wine fridges, as well as a tasting area with bar stools. You could also make your bar fridge or cooler a destination within your entertainment or games room. There’s no denying that Aussies love to entertain and enjoy a glass or two outdoors, so if you’re lucky enough to have a covered outdoor area, this could be just the place for a cooler, too. Just ensure it doesn’t experience any extreme weather or long periods of direct sunlight.
