Wood & Stone Remodel

The rustic stone for this range hood is Kimmichi River limestone with a 3cm slab backsplash of the same Nero Orion granite used for the countertops. Ceiling beams are hand carved, distressed, and stained to match the Amber finish on the perimeter cherry wood cabinetry. Knotty alder wood in an Onyx stain was chosen for the island that features a 6cm chiseled granite edge. Photograph by Patrick Wherritt
