We finished this pond in August, at the height of the Summer heat, and have planted only a few very hardy plants to begin with. After the first rains in October, we will finish the plantings.

This home had two ponds created for the homeowners. One as an entrance to the home and the other as part of a backyard oasis. They were designed using moss rock to make up many of the waterfalls and streams that cascade through the landscape. Photography by Vernon Wentz of Ad Imagery
Aquamaintenance Limited
This was a very exciting project for Aquamaintenance Limited to undertake; our client asked for a complete area change, to include a large natural pond, stream, waterfall, bog garden and, paved area.
The pond was constructed with heavy duty underlay, Firestone EPDM liner, looped geotextile, and soil retaining cells. The liner provided the layer to hold the water and the soil retaining cells held the top soil in place as so the plants could be planted directly into the soil without the need for any plant baskets.
The pond was edged with York stone rocks, and the waterfall was constructed of the same. York paving provides an area to sit and enjoy the waterfall near the bog garden area.
The whole area is visible from the house, and is a wonderful area to spend some relaxing time.

Accent Landscapes
All natural stone water features we build are built to fit into the landscape and topography. Depending on how much elevation there is to work with in your yard we can create cascading creeks, waterfalls and pools. We are often able to create some elevation through the use of berms and retaining, making this a possibility even in relatively flat areas.

Hall Landscaping & Design
A swimming pool conversion project. Our clients were looking for a new use for a disused swimming pool that had seen better days. Rather than just fill it in we were tasked with creating a usable beautiful space.
