“It was great working with Richard - he has unbounded enthusiasm for creating environmentally healthy homes which use as little on-grid energy as possible. His creative ideas regarding passive solar heating meshed right in with my less-educated desires. The end result is an Energy Star certified home with passive solar heating and active solar water heating .... and it looks good too!!!!”

“I am a supplier for Summit and the amount of time they take for their customers is amazing! I work with a lot of people but Summit did not rush to buy just anything. They wanted to make sure from A-Z that the project was perfect!”

“Happy to provide my highest recommendation for Rand and Home Architects. It can be difficult for one architect to recommend another as we all tend to think we, ourselves, are the best. In this case, my hat is off to Rand on a number of counts. First of all, he is a consummate professional dedicated to his clients and his profession who diligently works toward staying on top of best practices for detailing for quality construction, energy conservation and attention to balancing short term and long term costs. Secondly, kudos to Rand for the quality of his design work. He does not have a "style" that he forces on clients, but is rather able to design to meet the desires and tastes of his clients. Third, his dedication to the profession of architecture is evident in his work to help educate both clients and architects with insights gained through years of experience. OK, that's the truth about Rand. Just don't tell him that any other architect actually said these things as it may induce shock. :) If you are in his area and considering an architect - call him. You'll be glad you did. John A. Hrivnak, AIA, MBA, NCARB, LEED AP”
Ryan McKibben Architect

“Ryan did an excellent job designing the new front to our old (outdated and ugly) lake home. We love the results. He teamed well with the contractor and also with us. I highly recommend his work. We consistently get compliments on how different and wonderful our house looks now. It was worth the investment to use his services.”
