“I live in Manhattan and have a country house in the Catskills upstate. The house is a contemporary design built in the mid 1970's. The "bones" were great but the aesthetic was completely wrong. We had Kimberly redesign the interior of the entire house - from moving electrical work, plumbing, windows and walls to choosing finishes and fixtures. She is amazing and I have referred her to many friends and clients. Next.... the apartment.”

“Michael Lewis is a consummate designer with years of experience, talent, and organizational ability. We felt supported by Michael and his able firm throughout our project. There was a culture of sensitivity to our needs throughout the firm and skillful handling of issues as they inevitably cropped up. The firm worked with our century old house to bring it into the modern age, by retrofitting an amazing kitchen into limited space and converting an unusable attic space into a dream master bedroom suite with dormers, increasing our living space significantly. “Gustavson Dundes provided complete architectural and design services for a redesign and renovation of a 1950's Cape home , and transformed it to a modern colonial. The project was challenging in that the footprint of the house was narrow, and my wish list was long! GD excelled in ensuring the efficient use of small spaces. In particular, the family room includes a desk area and a small bar. They were flexible and listened to my concerns throughout the project. When I decided, rather late to flip a tub from the master bath to the guest bath, they made the change easily. They worked closely with the contractor and monitored progress through out.”

Robie stuck to the budget and came up with lots of great ideas. He was very flexible and creative. We'd use him again in a heartbeat!!!! “I consider Diversified a design team, as well as a top sub-contractor, who not only identify the right construction solutions but understand a project from an architectural, engineering, and interior design perspective. I have employed Diversified to provide me with all three services, architectural plans, engineering work (including obtaining obtaining permits) and subcontracting work. Diversified does a good job in holding the subcontractors accountable that work is done well and on time. They ensure subs work in concert with one another so there are relatively few lapses in work as compared to other firms. I have not been stuck with a punch list that takes months to address. They address issues and problems right away. My level of satisfaction is so high, I have hired Diversified to work on two different houses. The first time I have ever hired a contractor more than once. The work on my first home was so well done and had such a positive impact on our curb appeal, the house was sold in 3 days! I employed them the second time when I needed a firm who could move quickly in making my fixer upper move in ready (they even helped me out in the aftermath or Super storm Sandy). While the work may be a tad more expensive, it was worth the extra investment to make sure the end product was well done. I absolutely recommend Diversified.”
