“We remodeled our whole house in Fox Point in 2012-13. Karl was one of the deciding factors in us going with the company for the remodel. He was incredible during the entire process and after the completion. Karl has an incredible eye and was so instrumental in selecting all the lights, floor colors, paint, fixtures.... I could pass Karl a pic of the look we wanted and he would find it for us. Karl also worked with us to design all of the plans for our house. He really listens and got what we wanted. Overall Karl is a real pro and incredibly good at what he does. He is also so easy and nice to work with. I have an incredibly busy job with lots of travel and we would have not completed this remodel on time and on budget without Karl. We will use him again for future remodels and would highly recommend him.”

“Laura and I were referred to ELS Designs after several interviews with Southeast Wisconsin Architects. Many had one or more attractive attributes but none were a “one-stop shop” for all our residential architectural design, permitting, and contractor sourcing management needs. ELS Designs remained open to helping us realize our design/living concepts and did not seek to push their own concepts on us –as so many other architects are prone to do. From the start our design process was iterative and without cost penalty at every step and the wisdom of architectural experience helped us avoid mistakes. We are very happy with the results ELS helped guide -and would be happy to speak with anyone in detail considering using ELS Designs for your residential project!”

Wade exceeded our expectations as he was able to meet our budget and accomplish his work in a timely fashion! From the moment he sat down and sketched his incredible vision of our new kitchen to the completion of our project, Wade made it a fun and exciting adventure! His knowledge and enthusiasm for architecture is clearly extraordinary! Wade's superb attention to detail as well as the unique and highest quality materials he uses, makes his designs stand out from all the rest. When people walk into our kitchen, they are blown away by the transformation! I couldn't imagine a more perfect design for a cook's kitchen even with the space we had to work with. From the fabulous large marble and walnut island, vaulted planked ceilings, beautiful windows, gorgeous tiled hood over the stove with a windowed backsplash, abundant custom cabinetry perfectly placed, expansive countertops, built in walnut and marble bar, beautiful quarter- sawn white oak flooring and an amazing and thoughtfully designed fireplace, I never want to leave my kitchen!! Wade's designs are truly a rare commodity in the field of Architecture!”

“We first worked with Steve on a basement project in 2005. It turned out very well. We contacted him again in 2009 to rebuild a 1929 cottage which we received many compliments on how well we utilize the space and incorporated/recycled material. Recently (March, 2014) we contacted Steve to update our 12 year - old kitchen with limited budget. Steve catered to our needs by listening well. Steve is very knowledgable in every aspect of building and designing. Steve has a very good reputation among contractors he works with. It was easy to tell from their demeanor when we met to discuss the project on hand. We definitely highly recommend Steve's service to anyone who needs someone who is trustworthy and with your best interest in mind.”
