“My wife and I have worked with Richard on several projects, from a bedroom addition to cottage retreat and finally art studio transformation. We keep coming back to Richard, because in addition to his architectural problem-solving skills we always know that we can count on his creativity, attention to detail, and excellent project management abilities. From the beginning design consultations to product selection and placement, no detail is overlooked and Richard's own enthusiasm for our projects almost seemed to eclipse our own. Richard's attention to detail begins with the first client meeting, making sure that he understands your vision above all else before he ever picks up his pencil to create. In working for us, he helped transform an attic space of our home into a stunning master suite, bringing transitional elegance that gave needed spark to our space, while respecting the historic integrity of our century home. Later, when we bought our northern getaway, he transformed the drafty, characterless barn of a building that we had purchased, into a truly one-of-kind masterpiece that was at once a home, and at home in its setting. Later, I came to know Richard as an artisan supplier on some of his projects. Through this I experienced his attention to the overall project vision and client expectations from behind the scenes. And, like any good conductor, he made sure that all of the contractors on the project were in tune and playing together, so that the final melody was harmonious and advanced to the final vision and to the client's ultimate delight. “We have had a good experience working with Lester from Imagine Your Home as we went through a home reno project. He helped us from the start when we just had some basic ideas of what we wanted to do. His knowledge and experience in the building industry shone through as we stepped our way through the project. We would certainly recommend him to anyone looking at either building or renovating their home. We took our early 80's bungalow and freshened it up, added a 2 car garage and office, and got a bigger kitchen out of the deal, which was what we wanted in the first place. Lester has been very good at using creative ideas to utilize space in a practical way, and make it look nice at current with 2013.”

“Working with Studio M and Marie Marx in particular was a joy from beginning to end . Marie oversaw a significant project including a complete kitchen renovation and addition to second story to transform a small master bedroom into a master suite complete with a sitting room, dressing room and high end four piece ensuite. Marie designed the changes, drew the plans, obtained the building permit, hired the contractor, oversaw the construction, chose the materials and finally completed the interior design. Amazing professional. Considering the size and scope of the project, there were very few glitches and Marie adeptly handled any that did arise. One year later we still love the renovation and would change nothing. I cannot recommend Studio M highly enough to anyone looking to work with a skilled, talented professional with a keen sense of design.”

“Our initial meetings with Graham were productive. He worked with our original sketches and produced a quick working budget for us. He was well versed with the regions bylaws and compliance issues and had an extensive understanding of heritage properties. Changes in financial circumstance have put a hold on our project but we know others who have since had excellent experiences with Graham and who too recommend him for large and small scale renovations. Graham Whiting is a brilliant addition to the Region of Waterloo brain trust.”

“Rick was our Architect and Alison was our designer for a new detached house build in Mississauga. Rick is wonderful to work with, patient, respectful of our ideas, flexible, available and an amazing architect. He has a real passion for his work and an excellent artistic vision. Alison was fantastic, she really listened to our ideas and needs and incorporated them into beautiful designs. They were easy to work with, professional and excellent at their trade. I can't say enough. They worked within our budget and went beyond what we expected of them.”
