“Keery Design planned my retirement home in Scituate, MA on the same lot of land owned by my daughter and son-in-law. Because of zoning regulations the house was limited to 750 square feet. If anyone had told me prior to David's design for my home that I would be happy in 750 square feet I would not have believed it. But I am thrilled with the design and the livability of my home. Every square inch is usable space. There is a loft built in over the kitchen for my grandchildren's visits. The house is open and airy with gorgeous window views of the blueberry bushes and the woods at the edge of the property The angles in the home and the high ceilings create a feeling of space.. The house was designed to coordinate with my daughter's home and it does that beautifully. David worked throughout the process with the builder and offered many wonderful suggestions about material and accessories and that helped me to stay within my budget. The result is a home which I love and visitors rave about when they come. Beautiful space creates a feeling of contentment and peace. This space does that for me. I couldn't be happier with the design and building of my home.”

“I have worked with TMS for 14 years during which time they have designed and assisted us in building 2 homes and the remodeling of 4 shopping centers. The first home is an Ocean front gambrel roofed shingle style large property which while traditional in many exterior respects has a contemporary interior ideally suited to our interests. The siting and interior design of the house take full advantage of the site's spectacular ocean views. TMS has been a joy to work with. They matched our needs and interests with their impeccable taste and outstanding creativity. The House is a joy to live in. Our second home in Jackson Hole Wyoming was a different set of challenges as their task was to renovate and expand a bland 1920's simple structure that lacked the elegance and rustic charm that we were seeking. The result has far exceeded our expectations. They created an arts and crafts interior and a dramatic exterior that is both very different that other houses in the valley but looks just right in its environment. We have been so satisfied with their work for us that we are now working on a contemporary weekend retreat in New Hampshire's White Mountains”

“We chose Kelley based on what we saw on her website as well as houzz.com. Her style was consistent with what we were looking for. Her recommendations were stellar. One of them included a prominent person who has used her for multiple projects, both commercial and residential. She designed a master plan for renovation for our home, which entailed moving the master bedroom over a garage, opening up the downstairs floorplan, kitchen expansion, mudroom, dormers. Her services included 3D sketch models and Construction documents. She is a pleasant person, who is knowledgeable and confident, but not overbearing. She has many resources and also desired to work closely with our contractor. She really listened to what we were saying, and successfully incorporated design elements that were important to us. She is intuitive and read our needs well. She is budget conscious. The final cost of her service was consistent with what she listed on her estimate. We highly recommend her and anticipate using her for further services once construction commences.”

“We had the pleasure of working with Deb Bauman on the design and rebuild of our house in Maine. Deb's work on this project far exceeded our expectations. From the beginning, she listened to and worked closely with us to understand our family's needs and tastes and produced design concepts that addressed those stated needs and other needs that we hadn't even thought about. Throughout the project, Deb was always a delight to work with. She was accessible, collaborative, creative, and fun. She worked closely with our builder, engaged with him in a collaborative way (which further enhanced the project) and made sure that no detail was left to chance. The end result is a home that is warm, inviting and that reflects our personalities. Even now, 2 years after the project was completed, we are struck by the creativity and detail of Deb's fine work. “We started off needing an architect to complete some routine as-built drawings for an inn we are renovating. We were amazed at how quickly and professionally Hiroko was able to complete this for us. During this project, we were struck by her vast understanding of code requirements and structural issues. She was also great for helping us understand the municipal process in NH. We also discovered she has an excellent design sense. When we were ready to tackle a barn renovation with 40x60 addition to be used as a wedding venue, we had no doubt we would like to work with Lindsey Architects again. She is great at listening to what we want, giving us sensible advice and putting a design together that really works. We have even collected some building materials in advance which she is willing to work with. A few months back, we purchased an entire wine room from a homeowner who was renovating his home.. Hiroko did a great job working it into the design. We also really appreciate the fact that she is conscious of the fact that we do have a budget!”
