“My husband and I first hired Unger and Mahns in 2000 to build our 5500 Sq. ft. house in Rumson,NJ.The design was classic,sophisticated,tasteful and timeless."Michael and Michael" guided us through the design and construction and were available on site whenever the builder needed them.When we sold the house in 2008,the structural engineer that the buyers hired to inspect the house said it was one of the best built homes he had ever inspected. In 2006,we hired them again to do the plans for our summer home in Cape May, N.J. They designed our fabulous dutch colonial that looks like it is 100 years old.We are consistently told that is it one of the prettiest homes in town and not a day goes by where someone doesn't stop and comment on it.Our builder in CM said that the plans he received from U and M were the most detailed and complete set of plans he had ever worked with. They designed the new Rumson Country Club Pool House.It is a masterpiece! I am a real estate agent and my husband is as type "A" as they come.We are tough customers and pretty demanding.We recommend U and M 100% and feel they are worth their weight in gold.They are not the least expensive in the area but you get what you pay for.They are thorough,knowledgeable and very experienced.”

“We hired Primiano Architecture to design an addition for our house. We had no experience dealing with an architect or doing a home improvement project of this magnitude. Primiano Architecture was recommended to us by an acquaintance. From our first meeting with Joe we knew he was the right person. He was honest, intelligent and most importantly he listened and made suggestions. It was a true partnership. Joe worked closely with us throughout design, township approval, choosing a contractor and final approval. We could not be any happier with how the project turned out. I would give Primiano Architecture 4 out 4 stars and would recommend him highly to anyone looking for an architect.”

“We are very pleased with the result of more than a year's work, starting with pen and paper and a discussion on what we needed in a home, reviewing and editing floor plans, getting to plot plans, elevation views, and ultimately a final set of plans. This was no easy task, considering we were building a new home post-Sandy, at the Jersey Shore, and with flood maps changing during the process, being in dual zoning districts, and with required building heights uncertain. But, finally, we are done (mostly!) Scott, Jack and Bill were all great to deal with, they listened to our needs and wants, and helped us make decisions on the trade-offs you always need to consider when space is limited on the lot and you have a long list of needs and wants. The style of the house is a cape cod, the architectural detail is outstanding and it fits well into the existing neighborhood which is situated one block from the start of the historic district here in Ocean City. Ultimately, we love the house and get compliments on it every single day from strangers walking past and from family and friends who are visiting. So many people have asked us if they can have a tour. Thanks Scott, Jack and Bill for everything.”

“after looking at hundreds of kitchen islands i found one on houzz.com that was completely different than all the generic ones. it was a beautiful craftman cherry wood piece of furniture 82x45 that could be handed down through the family for generations. i contacted him and he made drawings of the table which i had made (we live across the country from each other). subsequently i had many questions, having never done a kitchen remodel before. richard took all my calls, was so helpful with any question i had. we talked about countertops, electrical outlets, hardware, and in the process i realized i had found not only a beautiful blueprint for a magnificent and unique kitchen worktable (we never say "island" around here anymore!) but a very decent man who was a delight to talk to. his work is precise, clean, has a "forever" feel, and his personality matches his skills with design and wood. he's a great guy to work with. i couldn't be happier with the outcome.”

“Jay Reinert is not only an amazing architect, he is an amazing person. We hired Jay to restore and renovate our 1890 victorian. He was/is completely enthusiastic and understanding of our goals to renovate our home to suit our needs but also respect and honor the history of the home. He asked us what we wanted, what we needed and then offered suggestions on what he felt we deserved - an amazing master suite we would NEVER have come up with on our own! He is extremely easy to work with, welcomes input from the home owner and is involved in the entire process from plans to moving in! We can't say enough good things about Jay, he really is one of a kind. We have enjoyed every aspect of our renovation and actually look forward to the next phase. We HIGHLY recommend Jay for any project!”

“We were referred to Steve Fenwick of Fenwick Architects by a long time friend and fellow real estate professional to design our new coastal home in Ocean City NJ. From the initial meeting we could tell that Steve and his colleague, Kevin Olandt would be perfect for us to work with on our project. They are both laid back and friendly, no big attitudes or prima donna attitudes, just fun and thoughtful. The firm is proficient in quality coastal design and materials. Both Kevin and Steve welcomed our ideas and input and even our changes, rather atypical of the trade. We found them easy to work with and very thoughtful in the design. Steve and team were able to bring our vision and ideas for styling, with their guidance to life in the construction of our coastal home. We would recommend Fenwick Architects for a collaborative and relaxed design experience without the attitude or controlling mentality often associated with the profession.
