He didn't flinch when he saw what little we had to work with, and, in a stress-filled year, managed to gently mold a beautiful house out of ashes and water. “Robert M. Cain was the architect for my home, completed in 2009. Photos are elsewhere on this site. Robert M. Cain (Bob) is a brilliant designer and superlative master of construction oversight. As the project began, he listened carefully to us and perfectly and seamlessly incorporated our desires into the house. The building is both beautiful and extremely comfortable. It is a LEED Platinum Home. It has many high performance features such as solar panels and geothermal heat pumps. Passive solar concepts are inherent in the design and allow us the be comfortable much of the year without heating or air conditioning. It has many windows and feels like it is in a forest, although the location is urban. It is a calm and cheerful house. Working with Bob and his staff was a completely delightful experience; it was satisfying in every way. Mary B.”

“We are so happy with our experience! The architect and also the GC, Woody was so immersed, dedicated to our project- he guided us when decisions had to be made with excellent communications skills and also humor! It was exciting to see it all happen- and it was on time! We were living in the basement during the renovation and one night, it was storming, pouring rain- and this was before we had the roof completed, and he shows up in the middle of the night just to check on things to make sure water wasn't coming in! He was also very good at keeping us in-check with our budget. We are very happy with our new home!!”

“Architecture: William is currently working on phase 1 and 2 of my house renovation and has provided drawings and plans for the renovation of the interior space. I will also be using him for the phase 3 exterior and roof details. Incredibly easy to work with and very competent. Fine Art: I have commissioned William on two occasions for art projects that my company was hired to complete. The work was excellent and finished on time and within budget. The client was ecstatic.”

“T.S. Adams Studio designed our home and interiors. They were such a pleasure to work with, very professional and responsive. From the beginning, Tim listened to what we wanted and incorporated all of it into his design. We had very little revisions as he brought our dream home to life. I can say without any hesitation that it was a great experience and I would definitely wholeheartedly refer them to anyone. “Without adding any square footage, Alan transformed our seemingly small kitchen into a highly functional and beautiful space that can easily accommodate four cooks and a couple of onlookers. My husband and I had discussed alternative floor plans for months and months but never thought of the innovative approach Alan proposed. We could not be happier -- the final product far exceeded our expectations. I can't wait to work with Alan again on our next renovation project!”
