“Mike was able to design us the kitchen we wanted and was very easy to work with. He asks for needs and wants and quickly implements the ideas into the plan with an excellent turnaround time. His services are professional, friendly and without pressure. His goal was to design us the best use of space. He was able to introduce us to our eventual builder and worked well with the entire subcontracted team.”

“We built a new home with the design help of John Melby. He was terrific! He had a lot of great ideas that others had not thought of, kept our construction budget constraints in mind throughout the process, and was extremely fast and responsive. John was able to listen to our ideas and “get on the same page” almost instantly, staying true to our desired style and function. If we build again or even remodel we will definitely use Melby Design.”

“Aaron has two qualities that aren't always found in architects and designers. First, he is talented with design and architecture. Second, he knows what works in the real world, having actual experience in the building trades. He used both of these skill sets to contribute greatly to the success of several projects when he was staff designer and project manager for FACE Properties, including an award winning restoration project that include tax credits and a tight budget. Aaron listens well, has vision but respects client ideas and is a joy to work with. When he got an opportunity to tackle a significant project with a different firm, we were sorry to lose him. Now that he is back in the area and has his own firm, we are again happy to employee his skills working on new projects with us. I recommend him without reservation.”
