“When we first met John Haynes of T.Ybarra Construction at a home show, we knew we would like working with him over the other companies we had looked at using. Besides the fact that the product looked awesome and in fact superior to the competition, John himself was what sold us on working with his company. He was attentive to our needs and desires, frank and straightforward in his communications and had creative and practical solutions and ideas for our troublesome space. We purchased the most beautiful brown metal patio cover (pergola) that blends with our house so well it looks like it was part of the original construction on our Spanish style house and totally looks like it’s wood. The pavers are absolutely gorgeous and transformed our long and narrow yard into an oasis, a stunning extension of our living space and in fact a space we never used since we bought the house. Now we love lounging under our patio covering – the transformation was amazing! My husband and I were both so impressed with how quickly and expertly the project was done. The design of the patio covering was totally custom made as our yard nor the house was square or even. The way they attached the beams to the house and the custom cut edging made it look perfectly even and normal. The craftsmanship was first class! Hugo and Gilberto, who constructed the cover, had to work in the rain and did an amazing and thorough job, working from an expert design drawn by John, but one that also required some adaptation to the quirky space on the spot. The pavers are a whole other piece of artistic excellence that Juan created for our patio. Again, since the patio could not be square, he had to hand cut a lot of stones and the design is exquisite and flawless! It’s not always easy to imagine what a design will ultimately look like from small samples of materials and drawings. But John made us feel confident and we could not be happier with our choices. We were extremely impressed with everyone who worked on this job and the end result exceeded our wildest expectations of what it would look like! “LACGI built a grille island around my free standing grille. I didn't have a large budget and they were very accommodating. Nice tile work and finished clean. They struggled a bit to match and blend island stucco to my house stucco. But over all very nice job.”

“I found Teak Master looking for ideas on how to enhance the natural color of our Ipe wood deck. I had played around with the thought of stripping the shinny varnish coating our contractor had applied and allow it to weather naturally on its own. But after viewing the before and after photos of wood decks on the Teak Master website, I knew allowing the wood to weather wasn't an option. I walked through each option with Tim and Raul and came to the conclusion that a tinted oil seal would work best with the recent stone landscape upgrades we had just finished. The guys came in a washed the deck clean the first day. I was impressed on how meticulous they were in covering the windows and areas around the washing (me being a neat freak I was so appreciative of this) The next day the crew came in and deep sanded the wood smooth. The sanding made the wood look brand new, it was pretty amazing to watch! After viewing various color tints, I decided on a recommendation from Raul on a "warm honey tone." I appreciate how patient Raul was on showing us a multitude of colors to get exactly what we wanted. I know it is difficult to change the natural color of Ipe wood, but they were able to do it. The guys hand brushed the sealer on and we couldn't be happier. Our deck looks amazing!!! Compliments and highly recommended.”
