“Archadeck of Suburban Boston is a superior design-build construction company. They designed and built an upper deck 10'x25' with a 15' bridge from the deck to the upper yard behind our house. Their design met with all local building codes, complimented exquisitely well the existing structure, architecture, and colors of this 100+ year old house. The composite materials they selected met our requirements for sustainability, low maintenance, long life, warranty, beauty, function, cost. The finished construction compliments the character of our house and blends with our rocky cliff terrain while adding to the value of our outdoor living space and the value of our home. The team, architect, project manager, and carpenter, are experienced true craftsmen who care about their client and what they produce. They ensure that all services needed for them to complete excellent work in a timely way are in place. I will hire them again for our next project.”

“Ed and his team have done wonderful work at our house on several occasions. The biggest job was a large screened in porch and deck renovation. The craftsmanship is excellent. He charges a fair price, and does what he says, and shows up on time. We plan to hire him again.”

“After Superstorm Sandy struck in October 2012, and blew down two 50+ foot trees on my house and shed, I made 3 calls immediately - the insurance company, the tree company and Walpole. The salesman, Gary Workman from the Greenvale store, came the following day and, when I still had no power, we worked by lantern light designing my new shed. I had explained that this was the most important repair for me, since I do a lot of gardening and use the shed to store all the supplies. The shed had to be functional, but more importantly, it had to be beautiful. In the ensuing months, the shed was redesigned several times. The salesman was wonderful and patient and even made sure to include the stained glass window salvaged from my old shed in the design of the Walpole shed. I requested whimsy and beauty and have a door with a rounded top (I refer to it as "hobbit style!"). The team that came in the spring to build the shed did a fantastic job. I now have the perfect shed thanks to Walpole. It has eased the horrors of all the post storm repairs . Thank you, Walpole, from the bottom of my heart. I wish I could include photos of Walpole's masterpiece.”

“Removal of a large pine tree and stump gave us the opportunity to expand and reconfigure the front entrance deck and steps into our house. My son and I are competent with the carpentry but did not have the time, skills or prowess to dig footings or pour pads. In addition, there were other possible timing issues so I was looking for someone who might be willing to do some aspects of the project but not necessarily all. Matt and Connor of Creative Spaces were recommended to me by a neighbor. I called and Matt came over the next day. We discussed the project and Matt came back the following day with a quote for (1) piers and pad, (2) ledger board, (3) deck structure (without decking), and (4) the complete project. Not all companies are willing to take on only part of a project – it’s all or nothing. Based on costs and other factors, we elected to go with (1) and (2) from Creative Spaces and do the rest on our own. As a small (two-day) project, they were able to schedule it quickly and showed up as agreed. The work went smoothly. The workmanship was excellent and professional. Matt and Connor were a pleasure to have around and even provided helpful advice on aspects of the project they weren’t doing. I have no reservation recommending Matt and Connor of Creative Spaces!”

“Eric and his team did a fine job on our new deck. It was a bit more expensive than I had anticipated, but Azek is what I wanted, even if it is over-priced. I will return later and post a couple photos. Carnazzo has a long wait time right now, but its worth waiting to find a company that won't mess up the job.”

“We've owned a Post Woodworking Brunswick Gambrel 10' x 12' shed for 20 years. Post Woodworking replaced some plywood and re-shingled the roof under warranty. Their technician, Luke, was amazing. Very knowledgeable, fast, efficient, and such a pleasure to interact with (it honestly felt like having a friend repair our shed). Post Woodworking sheds are incredibly well-built and professionally installed. This company really stands behind their products too (thanks Karen and Christa for your assistance). We highly recommend Post Woodworking!!”

“I had Tomaz Construction build me a blue stone patio. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful with the design. Offering a few suggestions that I loved. One of which is to put a seating wall around the patio. It has worked out wonderful. We live outside in the summer and fall. Also they were easy to do business. Finished on time and cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend Tomaz Construction”

“I highly recommend Hourihane Carpentry. We had an unfinished basement for over twenty years and Lenny Hourihane made our longtime dream a reality when he turned our bare basement into a room where people want to spend time in and relax. Lenny coordinates professional framers, electricians, plasterers, and painters to turn something looked-over into something beautiful. He is hands-on and he clearly takes pride in what he does, the work proves that. He's dependable and more than qualified. He's worked wonders for us and he doesn't leave a job until it's finished and right. Anyone who has Lenny work on their home is fortunate. His input and finishing work are amazing. Next time I might ask him to redo the whole house.”
