“My husband and I hired John to completely rebuild an old stone house. We chose him over two other builders not because he was the cheapest, but because the quality and workmanship he displayed were just what we were looking for. John oversaw the entire job, from demo to the finished trim, inside and out. The job entailed tearing the roof and second story, adding a sun room, and then completely rebuilding the house. It included a new second story, all new plumbing and electrical, new kitchen, new bathroom, everything. We wanted to rebuild the house even better than it had been, and that's what we did.
We were extremely pleased with John's work and that of the sub-contractors with which he worked. John was on the site every day either overseeing the work, or doing it himself. He was always professional, enthusiastic, and up front about the costs and time the job would take. He gave us great ideas about finishing trim and even milled it himself. Our house is beautiful and well built. If we had to do it over again, we would hire John.”

Previously they designed and remodeled my kitchen including making a new opening so dining room wall would fit my heirloom hutch. John worked within our budget so we ultimately opted for fancier tile back-splash instead of granite countertops.

“Steuber Architectural Craftsman, Inc. has done several projects for us, each of which has been of the highest quality. The largest project involved transforming a former attached garage (which had previously been converted by a former owner into a dark and unattractive family room in the 1960s) into a stunning family room with a new direct vent gas fireplace, authentic colonial paneling, a new French door built through a stone wall and random width oak floors with radiant heat. This was not a mere cosmetic transformation, but involved gutting the entire space. The project required significant construction to level surfaces, add the new French door and handle associated stonework, install all new electrical work as well as new plumbing for the radiant heat in addition to producing and installing the colonial millwork and cabinetry. This is now our favorite room in the house.
We strongly endorse Steuber Architectural Craftsman, Inc. Sean Steuber and his chief assistant Arthur are master craftsmen. We have been very pleased with the quality of their work and look forward to working with them again in the future.”
