“Design and execution of remodel that opened kitchen and separate dining room into large open kitchen/dining area. At design level worked well with owners to develop plan. Very knowledgeable regarding materials, as well as up to challenges presented by some aspects of original design, such as ceiling heat that constrained lighting choices. Design team covered range of expertise necessary for the job. Excellent management of the building phase. Workers well coordinated to keep job moving forward. Adhered closely to time line and budget.”

“We originally hired Mosaik Design to do some simple updating of cabinets and lighting in our kitchen. During the demolition of the cabinets a piece of flawed granite was discovered and we decided to proceed with a totally new kitchen design which enhanced and changed our main living area. From the creative design of the new floor plan to the finished project, the Mosaik team was professional and easy to work with. They stayed on schedule and used top notch subcontractors. We are extremely happy with the work they did for us and highly recommend them.”

“As a graduate architect, I am glad I contacted Therese to do a number of projects around my house this past year. She had designed my kitchen in years past, so I knew what a treat it is to work with her. In these more recent projects, we added a solar array and battery wall, replaced the roof, designed and installed an additional cabinet to match the existing kitchen cabinetry, and made impressive updates on a screened porch to make it more functional and attractive, among other improvements. I also like that she does not try to do cookie cutter responses to the design program. Therese is knowledgable and works with top notch trades people to get the job done right. She is responsive to my concerns and is very attentive to detail. Her fees and the cost of my projects were substantially more reasonable than when I have used another premium contractor in the past. I'm a little 'house poor' right now, but I'm already dreaming with Therese about some future projects.”

“We hired Arciform nine years ago to remodel our kitchen and add some touches to the adjoining rooms. The work itself was excellent; the people we worked with were top notch; and with one exception the sub-contractors were excellent as well. With regards to the exception, Arciform not only apologized but gave us a slight discount in that area of work and let us know they would no longer be working with the gentleman in question. Our first bid from Arciform came in about 20% over what we wanted to spend. Unlike the other company we were considering, Arciform didn't try to pressure us but spent several hours with us re-working the bid and showing us what could be eliminated at what cost. Highly recommend. Nine years later we continue to love our kitchen and find it a joy to be in.”

“Karen Richmond has designed and managed five major projects for us, with total costs exceeding $500K.* Three of the projects encompassed total renovations of older properties. Karen totally understood our requirements and presented tasteful, cost efficient, and environmentally sound designs. Project management and coordination with sub and outside contractors was supurb. Each project was completed ahead of schedule including "enhancements, created on-the-fly. Karen is not only professional but also a pleasure to work with, particularly as she creates practical solution to our design requirements.
