“I hired Jim and his team to renovate my kitchen. This is the fourth major renovation project I've hired contractors to perform, and Benson Homes is by far the best contractor I've hired. Jim is responsive, responsible and highly professional. He actually listens, answers questions fully, and holds his team to a high standard. He took care of every single goal and need I had for my kitchen, on budget, ensured I was completely satisfied with his company's work, and went the extra mile to ask for feedback after the project was completed. He even completed a few minor tweaks as a result of my feedback. I have absolutely no hesitation to recommend Benson Homes.”

“Travis helped us design updates and additions to our home in the Outer Banks. He also supervised the installation of our pool which was done by another contractor and made all the pieces come together. Great workmanship and a real gentleman. Work was completed on time and within budget. We will use him again without hesitation.”

“Completely transformed the inside of our brick villa on the lake. Creating an open floor plan.Wrapped our double see through fireplace with crab orchard stone, replace pop corn ceilings with tongue & groove plank with beams. Removed kitchen wall and completely remodeled the entire kitchen. Made a wet bar out of storage closet. Extended master bedroom wall two feet. Built custom bookcase cabinets in sun room. Removed two old bathroom, making a new guest bath and enlarged master bath.remodeled laundry room and added mud room. Built new platform and steps from garage into mud room. Replaced old outside deck with new one enlarged by four feet. Great company and well organized. Finished project on time. Started Dec. 2012 and finished April 2013. They have a great team.”

“LU Pearce did a major renovation at our home on Gwynn's Island this past year. A new staircase to our second story was designed to replace a poorly situated spiral one. Ken was able to design exactly what we wanted and it came out beautifully, as if it had always been there. A coat closet (under the new stairs), powder room, and new master bath were also part of the project as well as renovation of a guest bath. Thad and the subcontractors were true professionals. They were easy to work with, patient and helpful in decision making from beginning to end. The project was completed within the estimated time frame and I was able to comfortably work with their allowances for lighting, vanities, fixtures etc. to stay on budget. We are very happy with the finished product!”

Attention to detail during design and execution phases was incredible. No detail, big or small, was overlooked. “Complete kitchen renovation and bedroom addition. Their work product was exceptional. We lived in the home throughout the renovation and they were a pleaseure to work with. Work areas were cleaned up daily and they were incredible respectful to our children and pets throughout the process. I would recommend them without hesitation.”
