“About a year and half ago I worked with Sean Cutting and Cutting Edge Homes to remodel an older home just outside of Boston. The Cutting Edge Team was extremely helpful in guiding me through the process as a first-time remodeler. At the onset of the project, Sean and his Project Managers were very hands-on working directly with me during the initial planning/design phases and clearly explaining the project steps/timeline. They were also extremely conscious of my desired budget range and timeline for the project. Once the renovation started the onsite team was extremely polite, professional and engaging. When I would show up onsite they would take time to explain what they were working on and show the progress they had made. I also received lots of positive feedback from neighbors on my street on the professionalism of the onsite crew. Neighbors were very happy to see that the crew took time at the end of every day to fully clean up the work site. The project met both the timeline and budget parameters that were set forth at the start of the project. The finished project is beautiful and I couldn't be happier with Cutting Edge Homes. I would highly recommend CE Homes to anyone considering a home remodel.”

“We hired Stack+Co about a year and half ago for demolishing our existing house and building a new house on the same site. I am happy to say that we have had a really wonderful experience throughout the process. They were completely transparent about the budget, shared information on a timely basis and provided excellent project management support throughout the project. Our house is a modern contemporary house so we were looking for an architect and construction team that could deliver on our design intent. In Stack and Catriel Tulian we found both! The design of our house is amazing and the execution excellent. Their attention to detail and the quality of their work has truly impressed us. All the Stack staff we have had the chance to interact with have been professional, friendly and helpful. Our project certainly had its challenges but we found that the team was always willing to think creatively and find a way to address any sticky issues. I would highly recommend Stack + Co. It was a pleasure working with them!!”

“Aurora Custom Builders built our kitchen from the ground up with a master bedroom over it as well as modernized the rest of the first and second floors by opening up the layout. The knowledge and expertise of the leadership and building team was outstanding. It led to a clean, timely and cost effective project that we couldn't be more happy with. “My wife and I needed a kitchen renovation and we were referred to Bertola Custom Homes by a friend. Joe came to our house shortly after we contacted his company to provide us with an estimate. We had a general idea of what we wanted and that included removing two structural walls to open up our floor plan. The job was big and very complex, however Joe was able to design the alteration on the spot and 3 days after we met the walls were gone. Because the new design asked for a window relocation, we also had them repair some rotten woodwork on the exterior and paint the entire house. It was very impressive how quickly he managed to come up with drawings from an Engineer, the building permits and begin the work. Everything went very smoothly. The crew moved and protected the furniture as well as the floors. They were friendly, worked very hard, and the site was kept super clean at all times. We also liked the air filter that they provided. It helped to control all the dust from getting everywhere. The final product is amazing. Joe takes real pride of his work. We appreciate his professionalism, work ethic, honesty and positive attitude. It has been amazingly easy dealing with Joe and his team. All of them are super nice and fun to be around. We are extremely happy with all the work and are already on his busy schedule for remodeling four of our bathrooms in the fall. Highly recommend.”

“Kamp built a 2000sf in-law addition onto an existing 3600sf home. They perform much of the work with their own people and manage subs for contracted work. The project came out as good as we had hoped it would. Paul (owner) and Mark (onsite manager) make an excellent team. They listened to our requirements, made helpful suggestions and followed through to assure a quality product. The only thing I would fault them on was scheduling. The project took 6-7 weeks longer than expected. Some of that delay was caused because leads times on some items (cabinets, granite, etc.) were longer than expected and, had we known, we could have made our selections earlier in the process. (We were novices to construction projects and could have benefited from regular schedule reviews.) Overall, it has been a very positive experience and we would certainly recommend KAMP to anyone considering a build or remodel.”

“We worked with Carpenter & MacNeille over the winter and early spring of 2014 to redecorate The Inn at Castle Hill, a ten-room B&B in Ipswich, Massachusetts. The project included new and reupholstered furniture, new rugs/carpeting, new paint and wallpaper, new lighting, new window treatments, and accessories (accent pillows, decorative items, etc.), and a small amount of construction. We were looking for "design wow" in keeping with the five-star nature of the Inn, which is nestled into a corner of The Crane Estate, a seaside country estate that has been designated a National Historic Landmark. We are thrilled with the results. Carpenter & MacNeille had done much of the original design and construction for the Inn a decade before. They listened carefully to our goals for this project, understood precisely what we hoped to accomplish, helped us prioritize in ways that significantly improved our impact, and provided insightful design guidance along the way. The project was on budget and guests are saying that the Inn has never looked better!”
