“A corner of my garden was crying out for a room.... Jim and Walter immediately saw the potential for the plot, with it's slightly quirky, curved boundary. I knew I had found my team when I saw Jim's delightfully hand-drawn design shaded in pastels... The entire project has been a joy... Over the summer, the room gradually emerged almost organically, as if it had always been there,and belonged.. The boys worked with passion and commitment-and pleasure in their job. This was infectious. By the time the room was finished -complete with small bathroom/kitchen and bespoke,slanted picture windows,we were all equally proud..! My room has been frequently used by family [it's a big hit with teenage daughters..!] and friends alike,since it's completion,and everybody loves it. All in all, a 100%positive experience... I have engaged the services of JHF for several projects, each very different and each with their own set of unique demands for flexibility, professional solutions and a definite 'complete ownership' of the project through to full completion and indeed follow-up to ensure the clients' (my personal) satisfaction. I am not an easy customer to work for as my expectations are high and I have significant trades experience myself. I will continue to use their services exclusively, as there is no reason to look anywhere else once you've found the right provider. Deadlines always met and assurance of quality never compromised here. Throughout the latter part of 2019 and early 2020, JHF managed and executed the following works for me: Totally new kitchen incl. appliances, all fixtures, complete, finished job. Office remodelling - walls moved and constructed, ceilings and lighting reworked, doors and window installations-brickwork and framing, painting, complete, finished job. (5,000 sq ft) Private exec shower room, complete construction and appliances supplied. Electrical reworks in a warehouse environment. Installation & comissioning of (6 meter overhead) heaters and fan systems. Draw curtains at height. Outdoor photo-timed security lighting systems, full premises protection. ... and a variety of miscellaneous smaller projects- all eaually professionally finished with zero defects. I will say this much: When I add an extension to my home next year I will be engaging JHF services for all the major works - no contest !”

“Fantastic service from Cherwell D&B. We took on an extensive renovation job against a tight timeframe (had to be in the house in time for kids to start school) and on a tight budget. Carl came up with a great plan and the lads executed it brilliantly. Problems and changes were negotiated quickly and efficiently through conversation with Carl and Alan. Job done really well, on budget and with the big ticket items in on time. We stayed with them for a subsequent extension build, similarly well done. Would whole-heartedly recommmend them, and thank my lucky stars we decided to go with them. I doubt if many firms could have delivered as well.”
