“One of my friend referred Fernando,from Haven & Wire for home theatre setup in my living room. I was very much impressed by his approach. He was very detailed in understanding my requirements, analyzing living room measurements & type of furniture used. He has much patience in listening customer requirements. Then,he came up with different options from speakers to receivers in specific areas like patio, living room & kitchen. Information was so detailed that helped me to really understand essence of sound in each area. During installation,he is very detailed, slow & steady and is never in rush to complete. He took care of every request we made while installation and finishing is so perfect that no one can even differentiate if the ceiling is cut and applied back. Through out the process, he is vey through, professional, active, clear & perfect. My review would not complete if I conclude here. In the whole process we encountered an specific problem where audio of from TV apps and not passed to zone 2 speakers in patio ( we noticed that this is common issue for any receivers).I mentioned that this is very much needed. Fernando took almost week and did quite research came up with multiple option. he took a day of his time came up and tried all the options one by one and provided me most workable solution. There is no reason why I should not give a 5 star rating for FERNANDO for his commitment & task completion. It was already decided that Fernando will by my go person to setup my theatre in LOFT as my next project..”

“We moved to the Bay Area recently and wanted to find a local company to install a home audio system in the house we bought. I spoke with several companies, and had people come out, talk about what we could do within our budget. The people at Avid Home were by far the best. We set up for Micah to come out to the house and he really listened to what we wanted. He didn't come with a preconceived idea of what to do. We were not trying to make a home theater, this system is mainly to bring music to all our rooms. We wanted it Sonos based, and had 7 rooms set up throughout the house with ceiling or wall speakers. We had a bid within our budget, but after a few more conversations, opted to increase the budget slightly to allow for future upgrades if desired. We love it, could not be happier with the results! Micah made fantastic suggestions for everything, every detail covered, but exactly what WE wanted. The installers were terrific, very professional, and easily overcame the inevitable glitches we ran into. They were on time, kept us informed of the process, and cleaned up everyday. Highly recommend all the folks at Avid. Glad to have found them and will be going back to add more music to the addition we will be building.”

“Mike Brazil is creative and professional and is our electrician of choice. We moved into a house with a relay system, which was apparently very high tech in the 60's when our house was built, but now is basically an obsolete technology which makes it pretty much impossible for us to find parts for. As parts of the system started to go on us, we called several electricians to replace them. We were told by all that we would eventually have to replace the entire system (re-wire the house, basically) since parts are unavailable. Sinking $10-$15k into rewiring switches was frustrating to us since we just bought this house (our first) and of course the inspector never mentioned it, etc. and all that money would just result in some normal switches- boring. Mike was the only one who came to the table with a solution that would cost the same amount but give us much greater functionality- the Lutron Radio Ra system. With his creativity, we now feel better about our investment since we can control the entire house on keypads, from our iPad, etc. We can set up schemes so at one click we can choose "prep lighting" or "entertaining" lighting in the kitchen for example, and we can even control the system remotely and or even set the lights to come on while we're on vacation to mimic our normal routine. I know Mike didn't invent the technology, but he is the only one who saw this as a great solution to our problem. Throughout the process he's come up with other creative solutions to combine switches or use hardware to save us money or get us the best functionality. He really knows what he's doing!”

“Zach and the team at RTS have been fantastic. They've done a significant amount of work for us -- all sorts of rewiring, setting up sound systems, etc. They've helped make old wiring work and also installed new wiring. The cost was reasonable and if there were ever problems with my system after they came, RTS was quick to respond and fix things right away. We had previous A/V person (he had all five star reviews) and RTS is far more professional of an outfit. We had a really hard time finding A/V help and are very happy that we found RTS.”
