“Paul Knopp was the general contractor on an addition to our house that doubled its size. We feel that Paul put together a very high quality group of workers who built a very high quality structure. Paul worked with us as we made changes to the original plans along the way. We are extremely pleased with the outcome. Six years later we have had no issues with our addition!”

He completely renovated our basement that had sustained extensive water damage. The entire project was explained in detail after we had discussed our ideas, with David working directly with our insurance company, and giving his invaluable insight on all of our options. Everything was done on time, within budget, and exactly as promised. He is such a perfectionist. We couldn't be more pleased, and would highly recommend him to anyone considering a home improvement project.”

“Ted did a major renovation/addition project on our home in 2012-13. He also did a small repair project for us this Spring. both times he was terrific. The work was well done. Pricing was competitive. He and his subs on the big project all showed up when they were supposed to, did their jobs very professionally and were a delight to work with in terms of flexibility, answering questions, making (sometimes not making) changes to the original plan, etc., etc. Ted has also built a house and done four follow-on projects for a close friend who had similar results. We recommend Ted to our friends and neighbors whenever we get the chance..”

“We hired MegaPros to complete our guest bathroom. The challenging part was to extend it to allow for a large vanity, we had some dinky little vanity that could maybe house a hair dryer. The extended the bathroom about three feet moved our master bedroom wall, added a closet at the end of our hall way with beautiful french doors. This project could have been a nightmare. There design team had common sense, when it came to layout and practicality. It took them 3 weeks start to finish and they kept to there schedule and original contract price. All the MegaPros were great once we save enough money we will definitely welcome them back into our home.”

“We had all our windows and siding replaced by Creekwood Homes. Dee and Rick could not have been more patient and helpful in the planning and execution of our remodel. They came over numerous times to go over everything we wanted. They brought samples of siding and trim, and other items to make sure we knew what we were purchasing, and why. Their crew did an outstanding job stripping off old siding, installing new windows as they repaired underlayment and put up new siding. His person who stained the windows on the inside did a great job. They matched the trim to the existing interior door and base trim color quite well. Rick also found a GOOD gutter guy to replace my gutters and a blacktop installer to redo my driveway. Now some may say that I would have saved money if I found my own contractors for the work Creekwood did not do. I disagree! Rick knows all the contractors in Kane County. He knows who is good and reliable. If you do a large project like ours, and one of your ‘self-found’ contractors cancels his scheduled time for his work; the whole job gets messed up. I chose Rick and Dee for this reason. They came at the start and did not leave until they were finished. There was no “We’ll be back in a week or 2 to finish up”. How much is that worth? The price quoted on the estimate was what we paid. NO UPS AND NO EXTRA’S. They dotted their I’s and crossed their T’s on the quote. I cannot recommend Creekwood Homes enough. “We have hired J.A. Erber Remodeling & Construction to do several projects on our house and have had nothing but positive all around experiences. Attention to detail and expertise construction skills are what we appreciated most about Jeremy. We hired him to replace the singles on our roof, install soffit, fascia, and gutters on the exterior of the house. We also hired him to do some intricate interior window trim. All jobs were done with great skill and were finished ahead of schedule. We also appreciated the tidy job site as well as the clean language used at all times. We would not hesitate to hire J.A. Erber Remodeling in the future for any interior or exterior remodeling or construction job as his attention to detail is outstanding. We really appreciate that he can take a big picture project and get it right, down to the smallest of details.”
