We have been in the house a couple of months now, and with every new built there will always be some things that have to be tweaked, so far they were fairly minor, but I feel lucky that they have a great 'after-care' program. “We asked Leman Builders to add another garage to our house. At the time, they were extremely busy but they agreed to do the job Jason and his crew met the time line for completion. Every man on the job site was professional, friendly, and accommodating. They cleaned up at the end of every day. Workmanship was top grade. The final bill was exactly the same as the original bid, even though we asked for a couple of changes. We are asking him to come back this Spring to do some more work for us.”

“Artisans is the first word that comes to mind when I think of Long Custom Homes. They design and construct while paying attention to detail and watching that dollar. Dave Long and his sons are professional and hard working. We are thankful they are the ones who brought our circa 1850 home back to life. A family bath was added upstairs with heated floors, custom double vanity, window seat storage, marble inlay tile on floor and in shower and hidden door to large walkin closet. An attic was renovated into a spacious master bedroom and 3 skylights were added. The dining room, laundry/pantry and up and downstairs hallways were all completely gutted and refurbished (lots of Plaster and Plath ripped out) A direct vent fireplace as added. Original floors were reused. We had a chimney torn out, brick by brick and HVac installed. Old radiators were removed. The Longs had subcontractors lined up and ready to go with our schedule. I don't remember any delays. This was a very long involved remodel and they kept work going the entire 6 months. Our home is a true show place... inviting and relaxing.”

“Quality work, attention to detail, great customer service! When I decided I wanted to pursue a major kitchen renovation I began by searching out well reviewed contractor options online. I narrowed it down to three, and began meeting contractors and getting bids. Meeting with Dave from DJ's Painting and Remodeling, I immediately felt he listened to my needs, understood what I was aiming for, and could be trusted to do the job well. Now that my job is complete, I can assure you that my expectations were all met. When shopping for all of the finishes, Dave was a wealth of information about how durable products were, and what would work well together given my goals for the project. The workers were polite, cleaned up after themselves after the day, and answered my many questions. Someone from the office called every day work was done to see if everything went well and if I had any questions. I often asked what the plan was the next few days and was given the next few steps at that time. Dave stopped by often to check on everything and every concern was followed up on. I will say there were some hiccups along the way, as you would expect in any large project, but my concerns were always noted and they were addressed to my satisfaction. One of the reason I was drawn to looking at this company were the repeating reviews that they were on time and on budget. I, unfortunately, was niether on time or on budget, but I do not believe that DJ'S holds the primary responsibility for either of these things. The delay was due to plumbing issues we could not have known before hand, and my adding on to the amount of flooring we decided to replace. The budget overage was also due to those issues as well as my having more expensive tastes than I realized. If I had anything to say at all it would be that maybe the contracted budget was a little on the low side. However, I was always made aware of what my choices would cost over our contracted amount before signing off on them. Jake, an employee of DJ'S, was one of the main people to work at my house. He was polite, cleaned up, and knowledgably answered my questions. Yair also came often to work on drywall and paint. He also was very friendly, and kept me aware of what he was doing. In summary, I'm very pleased I worked with DJ'S on this kitchen remodel and would hire them again for both large and small projects. My kitchen ended up beautiful and everything I hoped it would be. You will not be disappointed with the process or the results of choosing this company”
