“Adaptive Building Solutions helped us do a remodel on our home in 2012. They moved an staircase, expanded a bathroom, and added a closet. We were happy with the work ABS did for us - particularly the lovely built-in woodwork (shelves, bench, etc.). His price was more competitive than others who gave us quotes and was helpful in thinking about ways to adjust the project scope to keep us in budget. He was flexible along the way as we thought of minor additional changes we wanted to make. We would recommend Mike to others.”

“Haig Construction renovated our half bath. Our home was built in 1939 and we wanted the bath to keep in the character of the decade in which the house was built. We wanted a new low-flow toilet and the wash basin had to be replaced because the built-in faucet dripped and could not be repaired. In addition, the space is very tight with the door just clearing the wash basin. They worked with us to find a replacement sink from a reuse center with the same profile as our old sink and looked original to the home. They also helped us find a low-flow toilet looked vintage. The demolition and reconstruction was all completed within 5 business days and included installing a beautiful marble tile floor. They stand behind their work and respond very quickly to phone calls.”

Christian has turned our cramped, inefficient 1930 kitchen into a more spacious, beautiful and useful space. Clever design details and skilled craftsmanship are always foremost when working with Christian and his team. We know we can count on them to creatively and cost efficiently tackle those unforeseen issues inherent in old house renovation. Their suggestions to fine tune the kitchen design details have added great value and utility to our original plan. “This company was helpful from start to finish. Very knowledgeable but willing to try a new flooring product in a new way. Job looks fantastic and was finished in a timely manner, and of course was brought in under budget which is always wonderful. Mr Kelly, Linda, Clarence, Paul and James were all especially helpful. This was a two part job remodel the kitchen and repair and upgrading of basement damaged in 2014 flooding my area endured.”

What started as a mother-in-law suite addition grew to a full kitchen remodel, expanding from 1 1/2 baths to 3 1/2 baths, all new windows, siding, roof, chimney, sunroom, deck and hardwood flooring. “Brian and his crew replaced the gables on our two story house and raccoon proofed them for us. In addition, we had some large trees fall on to our roof and second floor deck. They fixed everything and made it better and stronger than it had been previously. The work and workers are extremely professional and quality oriented. We are extremely happy with the finished project and have hired them to do more work for us. Highly recommend.”
