“Completely renovated our log cabin. They came in and demo'd it. Removing the drop down ceiling, making the whole log cabin 1 big gathering room (the lodge) with cathedral ceiling. They moved the stairs leading to unfinished basement (now finished), replaced all the windows in the log cabin, new ash flooring, new kitchen cupboards,added kitchen island, and countertops, notched out logs to fit new appliances. Also finished basement with new bedroom, laundry room, family room, bathroom and my favorite, "a craft room" from what used to be a "cluttered hall". Also added slider walk out door to patio area and outside shower. I have pictures from beginning to now, but don't have them on my work computer, can supply from my "patti.lou.who@hotmail.com" account upon request.”

“This was our first time building a house and we were a bit apprehensive of how stressful and difficult the process would be. Nate and his team were fantastic! We were included as much as we wanted to be, adjustments and design changes were welcome, the entire project was well organized, and any issues or concerns that we had were addressed quickly. Everyone that we worked with was friendly and I've found Nate to be extremely fair in each of the situations that we worked together. We worked primiarily with Jamie and he was excellent at communicating what was going, worked quickly to resolve any problems, and was always friendly, professional and approachable. Even after closing, communication has been easy and open. We love our new home and we're very comfortable with it. If we were ever to build another house, I'd build with Nate and Jamie without a single concern. It was a great experience!”

“This was the fourth project we have worked on with Reap Construction. In each case we were very satisfied with the work done and overall experience. In this particular project there was a lot of coordination with subcontractors. Joy kept them all on task and schedule and made sure we were happy with the results. In each instance that we have worked with Bob and Joy and their team, we have found them to be very communicative, the work to be a high quality and long lasting, the costs within budget, the project done on time, and the people very professional and pleasant to work with.”

“We have employed CDN for 2 renovations on our VT ski condo. The first was after we purchased and involved a large scale reno. The second was smaller but required Carm to take over a job that was initially started by another contractor (CDN was not available initially). This contractor was a nightmare. For both jobs, Carm was the ultimate professional. He helped in planning and design, asking the right questions and providing great insight. His work was meticulous and detailed, with great communication throughout each project. He even helped me move the furniture! He was on time and was respectful of our needs and wishes. He finished both jobs clean and ready for use. Our satisfaction was off the charts!”

“Gordon Dixon Construction did an amazing job building a home for us in Stowe, VT. The building experience was very enjoyable and remained on time and within budget. The effort put forth to keep the project moving in an organized and timely manner helped us as the homeowner keep on track with decisions and budget. Their guidance and attention to detail during the process were exceptional and truly evident in the quality and craftsmanship of the home. The carpenters were outstanding and were able to create exactly what we were looking for. “Red House was our GC for an eight month gut renovation of an 1840's farmhouse. They were fantastic to work with from the first call to their office thru the finishing touches just after we moved in. They provided ideas and consulted throughout the design process, sharing options for needed products, vendor and retail suggestions. As some items inevitably changed during construction they were understanding and willing to adjust. They ran a very neat construction site and kept the project on time. Chris Quinn oversaw the project from a business/planning perspective, David Matesi was point person on site (and a talented blacksmith!) and worked with Dave, Nate & Arna - a great team all around.”

“Greg did a major renovation on my 1974 ranch house. He was fantastic. The work was top notch--careful, intelligent, clean. When he thought something could be done more economically, he told me. He's SMART and thoughtful and also he's got great taste. I trusted his sensibilities. He was also easy to LIVE with, which is, essentially, what happens during a home renovation. He's just a lovely person.”

“It was a pleasure working with Warren Uzzle who completed a front porch project on my home in Warren, VT. When I initially spoke with Warren about my project, he told me that he would be down that afternoon - and he arrived early. I provided Warren with an overview of the issues (that he also saw). He asked a number of questions, and then proceeded to describe possible options to rectify the problems. Warren brought along a photo album of projects he had worked on over the years from building entire homes to smaller home projects. I decided to hire Warren and the project was completed on time and within budget. Warren kept me informed throughout the project and discussed any unforeseen issues with me along with possible solutions. Warren has an eye for perfection. He works to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction, keeps his word, and is a very trustworthy and honest man. Warren and I are in the process of planning our next project with includes the replacement of windows on my home. He is a master craftsman who won't disappoint you.”
