“Solid team that knows what they are doing. The team at Green Planet Remodeling helped me renovate 2 bathrooms - and remedied a lot of the shoddy work that was lurking behind the wall (thanks to my crappy builder for those surprises). Good guys that were efficient and professional through the whole experience. They even provided me with a 3D Design for both of the bathrooms that another company wanted to charge me for! “Golden Heights remodeled our kitchen and we love it! The project required moving one interior wall, moving a door and windows and adding two windows. The house is stronger now with better shoring and support than before. We felt that Golden Heights was a one-stop shop with a network of designers, engineers, architects, electricians and of course, builders. Neryah was our project manager; he guided the process from start to finish. Neryah spent hours listening to our ideas and making sure that every detail was planned for ahead of time. He helped make design and lighting choices, shopped for tile with me, and designers from GH identified the perfect cabinet source for us. Once we were given a contracted price there were no increases or change orders except for what we wanted to add (removing crown molding and painting another room). Eran talked me into a pot filler over the stove (no extra charge for installation) and guess what...I use it almost every day. The construction crew that showed up each morning were courteous, friendly, hard working. Every day they cleaned up and made our house as livable as possible. Shout out to Ulysses and Memo! Golden Heights took care of foundation work, framing, stucco, texturing, painting, floor and cabinet installation, tiling, plumbing, electrical...all the things. Neryah is a perfectionist who insisted a few times that work be done the more difficult yet right way, even when we would have probably been satisfied otherwise. The amount of time the crew spent on the project was much less important to him than having it done the best way. Of course we had a couple of hiccups along the way, but never anything that caused us worry or conflict. Neryah is a problem solver for sure. We are typically DIY people (we have remodeled our three bathrooms, installed flooring, painted everything, husband used to build cabinets) but this project was too big for us. As fairly knowledgable folks, we can recommend Golden Heights as knowing their remodeling stuff.”

“Manny and his crew are on time, honorable, efficient and extremely neat. The Keystone builders installed our new kitchen, doors, windows and even rain gutters plus repaired tiled flooring with minimal disruption and lots of care. The work was so meticulous I was able to delay the interior painting for another year and instead their awesome team painted the exterior of the house in half the time we planned. I look forward to working with them again!”

“My husband and I worked with Davis Home Pro on an extensive remodel of our 2,000 sq/ft home in Orinda. We took everything down to the studs and DHP did all new electrical, plumbing, dry wall, flooring, etc. Everyone we talked to cautioned us that our project would likely go way over budget and way over schedule. To our delight, this was not the case. DHP worked within our budget and provided alternatives when we need to cut costs. They were extremely up front with us from the get go and we knew exactly how much we were spending and when we went over budget it was our choice - not because we were forced into it or misled. Perhaps more importantly (we were expecting our first baby in the middle of this project), they were ON TIME. These two factors make them 5 stars in my opinion. I would say the quality of their work is very high. We have experienced some minor issues, like doors scraping floors or counters needing additional caulking. But DHP was quick to resolve during our 1-year warranty agreement. In addition to all this, Jason, Richard, Pete and team were a pleasure to work with. Extremely pro active and really nice people. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for jobs big and small.”

“NewKey has been by far the best GC in the Bay area I have ever worked with. From the start of planning, to the coordination with their subs and team members for installs, they have been very detail oriented. As challenges arise which they always do, they actually pick up the phone when you call and work on resolutions within hours not days or weeks! I am thrilled with the progress and would recommend them to anyone. Now that I have a great remodeled kitchen - I look forward to them doing my master bath!”

“We hired Clever Design and Remodeling to remodel our kitchen in our condo. We had met with two other contracting companies and we were given a similar quote as Clever but to be honest, meeting with Gilli gave me a totally different level of confidence than meeting with the others. We replaced most of the carpeting in our home with European Oak wood flooring which is beautiful. We also had the kitchen cabinets refinished and a new stainless steel over the range microwave installed as well as coordinating new sink fixtures and all new cabinet hardware. Recessed lighting was installed in the living room, kitchen, and master bath with necessary patching and all ceilings painted. Roy was very knowledgeable of all aspects of the project -plumbing, electrical, carpentry- displaying true craftsmanship in his work. Gilli was great to work with, she is very detail oriented and he and his team always left our house and the common areas in the condo building extremely clean (cleaner than it was originally, honestly). The Clever Design and Remodeling team really went above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable and happy with the work. Strongly recommended!!!!”
