“Jeff was recommended to me by a real estate broker who had used Jeff's services herself. We had spent a great deal of time looking for someone to install a new staircase railing in a home that was 113 years old. I cannot say enough good things about Jeff as he is definitely a "make it right" the first time type of professional. Jeff came to the home on time, prepared an estimate and said the job could be done within a week. This was music to my ears after such a long search for someone capable of doing the railing. Jeff took the added measure of having a colleague come with him to confirm the length of handrail required. They then went to pick up the materials and delivered them back to the house. As promised, Jeff showed up on the Friday and completed the railing on time. It looks wonderful and was one of the main focal points when the house was listed. The buyer commented that the staircase an new kitchen were the reasons she bought. I have recommended Jeff to many people since and will continue to do so. “You will find no finer home builder than Dave Brown and his capable crew. We are having him back to do an addition on our 125 year old home after his amazing work on our roof last year. He was responsible for rebuilding our entire roof structure including new spray foam insulation and all new sheathing. Their work on the facia and soffit was impeccable. He and his crew have an exceptional eye for design and no detail is left unaccounted for. Definitely a quality job through and through. Thanks again!”

“Our journey of building a house is not a easy one. We are grateful to have Kairon Homes by our side. Nav is very good at handling “our troubles”. We want to use some contractors of our own choice. He made it happen. Thinking back, we are not sure using our own guys are the best ideas. He was the I charge of the quotes verifying, making sure we are getting competitive quotes. All the quotes are transparent. He also smoothies out tasks between contractors. He enjoys what he does. Tasks he need to handle would be like a huge headache for me, he takes them with ease, professional and competence.”

“Jeff is my "go to" contractor. He is conscientious, charming and ethical. He completes his very hands on projects on time and on budget with a great crew. The workmanship is fabulous. I have hired him for two separate projects. A year ago I purchased a new home and had only two weeks to have changes made before occupancy. I hired Jeff Hayes Contracting to install a new sub-floor to eliminate a sunken living room, install new hardwood and baseboards throughout the main floor, prepare for a new fireplace and paint the entire house - main floor and finished basement. The completed job was amazing and timing perfect. This fall I hired Jeff Hayes Contracting to remove a skylight. Jeff took care of both the outside (framing and shingles) and inside (significant ceiling work, painting and new, creative lighting). His attention to detail and the effort he made to minimize and contain construction dust were greatly appreciated. Again, the finished project was awesome. I highly recommend Jeff Hayes Contracting.”

“I hired the services of Sanchez Homes for a fairly significant reno project for my 8 year old town house in Ottawa. The company was hired to install hardwood flooring for the entire second floor, installation of hardwood stairs, removal, re-staining and reinstallation of handrailing, installation of new spindles, new baseboards and new trim. The project also included the removal of previous carpeting, baseboards and trim. The initial stage of the project; removal of existing flooring was a dirty dusty job that the company handled with professionalism and good humour. Sanchez Homes involved me throughout the entire project, helping me to choose from the selection of the hardwood, spindles and stains. There are hundreds of details involved in a project of this nature, many of which I had not anticipated. Sanchez Homes seemed to know all the details and options before the project even began, which saved me time and money Before installation of the new flooring, the company was able to solve a constant irritant that had been with my house since the day it was built; the floors creaked incessantly. Sanchez Homes solved this by screwing hundreds of screws into the floor boards and re-anchoring the wall framing, a simple but labour intensive solution that other companies may have overlooked. Their trades people were experienced knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. The attention to detail was surprising, the overall results is what one would expect in an expensive custom built home. The results surpassed my expectations.......and I expect a lot from the people I do business with.”
