“John helped me clean up a house that I purchased in the fall. He was thorough and professional, taking care of every aspect that I couldn't handle myself. He was intimately aware of my budget and never wavered from ensuring I got the service and solutions that I needed, even if we had to forego other elements. He never compromised the quality of his work or my needs and every employee was courteous and understanding. “We had chosen a passive solar, well insulated, 1450 sq ft ( with walk out lower level ( another 1450 sq ft) design. Not knowing any builders, we chose a few from the Kingston Builders Assoc. We were very impressed with the detail of the Concord estimate. This was our first building experience. The house was considered a 'custom' home and was a 'turn key' home. This meant that the builder would see the project through completely until we moved in. Neither of us were able to be at the building site daily, so we had to trust our builder completely. We found Concord to be respectful and responsive throughout the project. The Concord builders and sub-trades were all very pleasant and willing to answer all our questions. Visiting the site was easy and comfortable. The passive solar required some particular design consideration and Concord added the needed siting, window size and eave changes. Martin Mack oversaw the entire project and insisted on attention to detail, especially in the insulating and sealing of the airtight construction. It was a learning experience for us, not unusual for this kind of project. We did go over budget. All additional costs were explained. There have been a few problems in this first year. Nothing very surprising, and Concord has responded quickly. We are very happy with our new house and would happily recommend Concord Homes for anyone who wants an enjoyable and professional building experience.”

“Andreas personally handled the work on the renovation of our master bathroom. This work was completed the beginning of November 2019. He was a very hard worker, and very conscientious of the work he was doing. He kept the area extremely clean every day. This was very helpful as this was our master bathroom and we still needed to use our master bedroom daily. He was extremely friendly and never had an issue with answering any of our questions and taking the time to explain things to us. We have hired contractors before and this was our best experience yet. We are extremely happy with the results. We highly recommend Andreas and Hombar Construction and will definitely use him in the future if we have other projects.”

“Garofalo Brothers Construction is a full-service operation. I was thoroughly delighted with their attention to detail, steady progress, expertise/advice, accessibility, clear communication,and desire to ensure the home owner is happy with the project. They built a 3-story addition to my home -- always a challenging situation. The new construction included additional storage, new furnace, duct work, water heater, plumbing, upgraded electrical, new roof line, family room, fireplace, deck, master bedroom, en suit, and I'm sure there are things I've forgotten. They started on time, made up time delays caused by poor weather conditions, and stayed on budget. Additional expenses incurred were upgrades I chose. They have an excellent reputation in the Kingston area that is well earned and deserved.”
