“Our relationship with Peterson Builders began due to a recommendation by the local hotel clerk in Eden, two years before we could even get started on our home project. Living in California, and being the designer of the home with the desire to be hands-on participants, we knew we needed a company that we could rely on to give us reins while being able to trust in their abilities, being absentee a great deal of the process. When the hotel clerk learned of our passion about building our new home she assured us that Peterson's was the group we should meet. From our very first meeting with long time Eden local Lynn Peterson, founder of Peterson Builders, we knew we were in the hands of professionals that were genuinely interested in making sure we would be comfortable and completely happy with the process. Once we were ready to proceed, our job was turned over into the capable hands of Peterson's general contractor, a master wood craftsman, Erik Johnson. Peterson's is innovative with the times, providing us with the Builder Trend program so we can follow the progress with photos and updates via computer; accommodating with our desire to build the way we would like; and we feel like we have a new family in our new town. As Erik and I were working on the schedule just recently, it looked like we could get the project wrapped up the week after Thanksgiving. “We've known Ira (ASAP) for several years now. He has worked on severa projects at our house; anywhere from painting, putting in floors, countertops, plumbing, installing cabinets, mounting TVs, putting in fence slats, etc, just to name a few. Ira is committed to the job 100%, and he does what he says he will do. He is also flexible, accepts feedback, and always willing to help the client with the best cost-benefit options to get the job done. One thing we also liked about Ira is his willingness to accommodate the client when it comes to emergencies, and unforeseen situations. We've had a flooded basement last summer while we were remodeling it, and Ira took the lead on helping us vacuum the water and contain the problem while we were working with our home insurance adjuster to resolve the sitation.
