After 4 months of soliciting bids from 8 different builders we made our decision to go with Brett Lott of Lott's Better Built Homes. Brett wasn't the low bid in our competition, he was actually 4th in the pricing category, but he was by far the most comprehensive in terms of providing us a bid that included all of the line items and allowances we had requested. The only reason for not giving a five star rating was that the cleaning of the house was not great prior to move in, and the interior painting needed several touch-ups. That being said, they addressed 100% of our punch list to our satisfaction and professionally. “VERY HAPPY!!! This company is great at communicating what they plan on doing, They are very skilled in there trade, many times throughout our project we ran into unexpected changes due to the age " built in 1965" of our home, with remodels plus we got a guy who was a licensed Electrician, Finish carpenter, and has done HVAC for 10 years. with all these surprises I'm so glad we chose Remodels plus to do our remodel. They were helpful with different ideas and basic planning of our entire house project, from estimating the cost of a section of the project so we could decide if it would add the value we wanted to our home. we also did some of the work ourselves and on the weekend we would have a few unexpected problems, we could call Nathan and he would run out to rescue or consult us at no charge, you can view the bathroom that got remodeled, and the ceiling that was sagging from its age got a new custom look. we would have to go to work on weekdays and we trusted the crews working on our home, we never had any problems trusting them to be working in our home while we were not there, I have a few more project we are planning for next spring and Remodels Plus will Definitely be the contractor we choose. In the past it has been challenging to find someone who was experienced in remodels, "and who could also build a house from scratch" to come and do high quality work. without emptying the pocket book.”

“I was just looking at reviewing my contractor and I saw a review that I do not agree with. AJW construction did a great job. We remodeled the every room in the house accept the kitchen and family room. AJW will be getting kitchen/Family room remodel once we decide on a start date. We have had cracked concrete. Fixed within a month but is was not delayed due to AJW it was the subcontract who was delaying the repair. AJW did a great job keeping me updated on the situation and let me know when the repair what completed.”

“We hired StoneCrest Builders to help us design, and then build, our house. We started with a rough, conceptual idea, and Steve worked with us for several months, converting those ideas into a workable floorplan. Working with Steve was enjoyable, as he quickly grasped what we wanted, and then applied his experience as we went through half a dozen iterations of drawings and modifications before we finally settled on the design. StoneCrest has an in-house Design Studio that worked with us on selections of flooring, cabinetry, countertops and every other detail to finish the home. This was another intensive set of decision-making, and the design consultants were sympathetic to our needs and helped us arrive at a terrific design. StoneCrest hires quality subcontractors to perform the construction work. Sometimes the schedule slowed down as we waited for the right sub to be ready to do our project, but the overall project stayed on schedule. We were in close communication with StoneCrest throughout the project, and they were careful to inform us of anything unexpected and how it would affect the schedule and budget. We were told by another customer that this builder really wants us to be happy with the project, and we saw them bend over backwards to make sure that we were. StoneCrest is not the cheapest builder in our area, but they are focused on doing quality work and building a home that they can be proud of, and the customer can be happy with. Their estimates of schedule and budget were accurate. We have a house that we are proud to show off to o urfriends, and they are uniformly impressed. I would not hesitate to recommend StoneCrest to anyone who wants to build a quality home.”
