“We'd not seen ourselves as the type of people who could/would hire an architect, but after deciding on both a loft and garden extension along with kitchens and bathrooms for two flats AND a new garden studio we knew we needed desperate help. With a MA in Fine Art and long history in jewellery and graphic design I had a firm idea of the aesthetics for the flats but needed help with the logistics and endless tiny details. There is no formulaic press of a button and delivery of generic plans like the the company we started using before Covid struck and they dropped off the face of the earth. What a blessing in disguise. Working with an architect who takes pride in their work isn't a quick process and requires you to put the work in to get the most of your resulting home.
