“Elaine was a delight to work with. She was very responsive which was such a nice surprise when working with a contractor. She remodeled our kitchen, living room, and bathroom. I have champagne taste and a beer budget. Elaine was communicative, found great substitutes that were in our price range, and gave us a lot of choices. Any issues we have had she immediately responds and coordinates a solution within 24 hrs. Her team was really pleasant to work with.”

“Amy Woolf is not only a skilled color consultant, she is an awesome all round decorator. I first hired Amy to help me with wall and carpet colors for the basement space we were turning into a den/media room. She not only helped me pick colors for these, but ended up helping me pick out just the right couch to bring the whole room together. To this day, whenever people see the room I hear some variation of the statement, “I really like the colors you picked!” Next Amy helped me with the dining area in my townhouse. Since the dining area is part of a large room that includes the kitchen and living room, there was a lot to coordinate with. Amy had a way of asking me the kinds of questions that helped me understand my own design preferences and gave me the ability to narrow down what colors, textures, and styles would look best. The result was a room that is both highly functional and beautiful. I would hire Amy again in a heartbeat for any design project, large or small!”

“I could not be happier with Laura Stranlund's interior design work. She has designed four homes for us, and we just hired her this week for our downsizing from the home of our dreams that she managed the construction of and design work for to a condo that will allow us freedom to travel. She knows us, she understands our style and pushes us out of our comfort zone just enough so we have a fantastic result that we never even dreamed of. She works within our budget, never tries to upsell to a place we are not comfortable with, and is a true professional. A rare combination of great design but also great business practices like on time billing, transparency in cost and completing projects on time. I could not face this downsizing without knowing Laura will be there for us to make another warm and special home space. While leaving our dream home that she helped us create will be difficult, we are excited to see what Laura has in store for us next.”

She is attentive to her budget and has a great eye for the details that pull a home together. She is a full-service design firm, coordinating everything from the architectural layout of the home, to tile design, trim work and light fixtures to the soft-side of the home, including furnishings and window treatments. “We have been thinking about an addition to our house for over 8 years. We felt stuck and unable to proceed with plans because we could not make the floor plan "come alive". We could see walls and dimensions but the space lacked flow or vision. Silverwood Home Designs fixed that for us! Nikki was able to listen to our must haves and our big wishes and create a space that feels like home. We were referred to Silverwood Home Designs and are extremely pleased with the results of our new plan. We are a family of 4 which includes 2 small children (and a dog). Nikki was able to incorporate our current needs while also focusing on how we will want our house to grow alongside the children. She utilized the space appropriately and functionally keeping in mind storage and lighting. During the presentation of her plans, we were blown away how she was able to offer more than we had ever imagined. The best part, she made minimal impact to restructure the space and include everything on our wish list (and more!) I will recommend Nikki and Silverwood Home Designs to anyone looking to Remodel, Renovate or Design any part of their living space. In fact, we are already talking about bringing Nikki back to take a look at another area we want to update.”

“After moving from a home into a smaller condo, I needed some help decorating. The excellent services that "Details" provided were the answer. The process was easy and absolutely painless. Using much of my own furniture and accessories also made it very inexpensive. I was very pleased with Wendy's professional and creative approach. It was a fabulous experience and I have recommended this company to several others . Perhaps I can convince her to do the same for me in FL next Winter?”

“Joanne is amazing! I highly recommend her services! My house was built in 1976 and it was long overdue for a kitchen/bathroom (off of the kitchen) update. Joanne helped me to get the most bang for my buck and helped me select everything from the counter tops, back splash, tile and vanity, to the lighting, sink and wall color. And now the kitchen and bathroom look amazing! One of the reasons for the upgrade was because we were getting ready to rent out our home. And it definitely worked because we rented our house out to the very first family that looked at it! They were very impressed with the kitchen/bathroom. One of the things that I liked best about working with Joanne is that she really cared about what I wanted and what my style was - and not just what her vision was. Joanne is very good at working with your budget. She is very talented and has an eye for design. I would definitely hire her again and I am giving her name to all of my friends!”

“JM Homelife is so easy to work with. Jodi comes up with great design ideas but is not offended if you don't like something she picks out. We have worked with her to redesign several rooms in our house. She is currently redesigning our living room and sitting room. She recommended we paint the walls an off white. I never would have chosen that color but it makes the room look twice the size. She keeps the budget in mind but her designs always look high end. She is a pleasure to work with and I can't say enough about her.”
